Baby Porter
I'm terrible at blogging...mostly because I feel like nothing exciting goes on in my life people would want to read about. But now we have real exciting stuff...A BABY! So now I'm going to try and keep this updated so family living in far away places can keep up on our little guy. I'm 20 weeks right now. Half way there. We are so excited to become parents.

and our carrier/stroller set!
It's so much fun getting all the baby stuff ready!!
I started to feel him flutter around 17 weeks, and now he is full on kicking...little ones but still kicking. I love it. Brian could feel him through my stomach around 19 weeks. It was so exciting. I love him already! Can't wait to meet him.

Awesomeness!!
This post is directly for my AWESOME husband. I love this guy so much!!
He takes such good care of me. I had a crappy schedule with work this week, I worked late, then early, then late, then early. I had no time for anything and he just took the initiative and helped out. He hates when I have sucky shifts at work. So one night after one of my late shifts I came home to such a clean house. I mean clean. He vacuumed, did dishes, laundry, made the bed, cleaned the table off,took out the garbage, and cleaned the kitchen. I just feel so grateful for such a wonderful husband. He does so much for me and I am just so lucky!
All this appreciativeness got me feeling nostolgic...

We carved this tree at least 6 years ago. I cannot believe how fast time goes . I am so lucky to be with him for so long. He is the best thing in my life, and my very best friend. I am a little selfish of my time with him (ask him...ha)but it's all for a very good reason...I just can't be happier than when I am with him.
He even took me to see Country Strong because if anyone knows anything about me knows that I am a country girl through and through. I loved it. The movie itself was a little depressing but just the whole country theme made me excited the whole time.
All in all...I am so lucky to have such a great guy love me and who is always willing to make me happy anytime, any place. Thanks Brian for being so AWESOME!love you!

Training Time
So I have my first Half marathon in 10 weeks. It's time to get my butt training. On one hand I am super stoked to do this, I love events you have to get ready for. I did a sprint Triathalon in lake powell once and LOVED every minute of it...(except for the swimming...which is another story in its self).
So I am excited...and also dreading it. I am nervous. I am not really a runner. I keep doing it hoping I get addicted to it...no luck so far!
I am doing the Ogden one down the canyon, which I've heard is gorgeous and downhill.
So officially I am stating my goal so that I can have motivation to train hard enough to do it. I want to run the whole thing (no walking...uh we'll see how that goes) and I want to do it in about 2 hours ish.
The sucky thing about this kind of event is the training. If you train enough the day of is going to be awesome with all the adrenaline and hub bub. It's the 9, 10, 11, 12 miles you run on the saturdays before the race by yourself that's going to be the kicker.
Well...I am off to go train. Wish me luck!

Valentines Weekend Trip
Brian and I went to St. George over Valentine's weekend and had a blast. The weather was so warm and nice. It felt so good to get away from winter. Here are a few pictures!

Flag Football
So this weekend Brian was in a Snow Bowl flag football tourny in Ogden. It was a lot of fun...a lot of football, but very fun. It started on friday night at 9pm...(way cold for me to be watching...but I was there..along with my mom), Then Saturday morning at 10 am, it was single elimination so if you lose you are out, well they won that one so, a game at 11am, they won that so Championship game at 12. Here is a pic of the muddy boys!
Getting Robbed
On another note, last saturday we were out to the movies, when we get to our car...nothing looks suspicious so Brian lets me in the car then he walks around to the driver's side and gets in, when he shuts his door..our backseat window SHATTERS. We were like...What the??? We get out to assess the damage and wonder how that just happens? Some guy wonders over because he heard the glass. Then a girl a row ahead of us yells to us..."hey I got robbed, did you guys" that's when it dawned on us...Yes YES we did! A little corner piece of glass was missing. Long story short, the cops come,we get a case number, we leave. Nothing seems to be missing. nothing looked touched. We drive to my parents house because we can't drive it to SLC...then we find out our duffle bag was missing. Then I felt like CSI trying to figure out what happened. We figure the cut the glass, reached their grubby little hands in our car and unlocked the door, ALARM goes off, they get scared...grab the only thing right there and run. Sucky for them it was only clothes and my make-up bag...SUCKY for ME....MAKE-UP is EXPENSIVE...holy cow! I had to replace everything. BOO. But I have to say I am in love with my new make-up...so that's good! Still sucks. Okay there is my too long of story for not that good of news.. SORRY.

Friday Night Lights
So Brian's Family is really into Friday Night Lights right now, so we have gotten interested by all their conversations. Well we started watching them last night and ummmm.....pretty sure I cried in all 4 episodes we watched...the first episode for sure. WOW...it like brings you back to high school then wrenches your heart around a bit. It is a really cool show, so I think we'll keep watching it!
