Concert
Tonight I was able to take Brinley to see The Offspring in concert, and we both had a great time! Her smile was so huge, and she was so excited to get a poster for her room. We laughed and sang our hearts out, and we learned we don't like floor seats, since we're both too short to see over people. But overall it was so much fun!
Happy Birthday!
It seems to crazy to think that Tristan is 25 today, but time has certainly flown by! It has been a joy and a privilege to watch him grow into an awesome human, and a great son. He truly cares about those around him, and is always thinking of nice things to do for others. He has really been loving his time in Belgium, and even though it's hard to have him so far away, we're so proud of him and everything that he is accomplishing! He's been able to travel and see over a dozen countries since he's been there, and Cahl and I are super excited to be able to go and visit him later this spring, and do some sightseeing with him.
New Year's
We headed down to Vegas on Monday, to spend the week with the Goukers. Cahl even got to do a site visit for Mammoth while we were there, which was pretty cool.
It was so nice to see everyone and visit, and I love how full and chaotic the house gets for holidays. I love all the noise of cousins playing, kids piled up on each other, and playing games and doing puzzles all together.
We had our big family Christmas on Friday, and it was wonderful! So many great gifts and laughs, and I can't wait to see everyone again soon.
