Blog Wars (The delete button is winning)

I haven't blogged in awhile. It's not that my life is completely boring or I have nothing to say it's just I'm not sure how I feel about blogging yet. I mean if someone wants to know about my life shouldn't they just ask? On the flip side though I really enjoy reading other people's. So here is my thoughts: I think I'm going to delete this thing. If you want to know something e-mail me. I'd love to hear from you! [email protected] if not...why are you reading this?

A Scrooge Compare to Cheryl

I always thought I was a charitable. I consider myself a fairly nice person. I'm no Cheryl Fraiser (Miss Rhode Island from Miss Congeniality) but I'm no Scrooge either. Our lesson in Sunday School this week was about being charitable. I always knew that it was more than just an act it is a way of life that I should live by. But I guess it never really sunk in until this week, pathetic I know but what can you do.

"Some people change their ways when they see the light; others when they feel the heat." -Carolone Schoeder

I didn't think I was that bad. I mean yeah I need to work on it but it'll be an easy fix and I'll be good to go. No big deal. It was only a few minutes later, when I caught myself being completely the opposite of charitable, that I realized I was in a lot deeper hole than I had at first thought. Not only had I ran through that light, that Carolone talked about, I was past the point of hair singeing.

It's not like I try to be uncharitable I just am. It's a horrible habit that as the week goes on I'm realizing is going to be harder to stop doing than eating sugar! So dear void, how does one break such a horrible habit?

Your Delusional Sunset

Image

Boys are trouble.
duh.
So you try and stay away from them right?
Wrong. It's impossible. They'll find you!
They're sneaker than that cold that's been just waitin' to attack.
It's unavoidable.
There is no medicine.
Emergen-C anyone?
That's not gonna help ya.
Been takin' your vitamins?
Good they like them nice and strong.
There is no escape.
They'll find you.
Whether it's through a friend of a friend, while your vaccuuming someone's house, or on top of the Stratosphere. It doesn't matter to them.
They'll find you.
Isn't there a Shania Twain song like this?

So there is this guy. He's been there for awhile. Just hangin out back stage of my life. Then BAM he decides he wants the spot light. He makes his move, and I think to myself I'm happy ridin' solo thanks though. He disappears. Ha ha psych! He's still here. Because he knows that you need him. You can't survive without him. He is a good influence on your troubled life ...what life?... shoot he IS your life. We're talkin' the whole

"The future is littered with prizes
And though I'm the main addressee
The point that I must emphasize is
You won't get a sniff without me!"

Image

And the whole time I'm thinking "who is this guy?" and when did he get invited to my life? But ya can't shake him. Cause he's a good friend. He means well...I think...You can never have to many friends. If you ever needed something he'd be there faster than lightning strikes. You guys have some things in common. He makes you laugh...okay sometimes it's a little forced but still he's entertaining, you've gotta give him that. And he's persistent. And he puts up with your crap.

"You sound so innocent, all full of good intent
Swear you know best
But you expect me to jump up on board with you
And ride off into your delusional sunset"

But that's not me. This is my life. And you've only got a ticket to sit in the audience. So sit down, and applaud for goodness sakes!

A Picture Worth a Thousand Words

So I'll let them do the talking for the most part

The recent events of my life...backwards

ImageTristen and I meeting Baby Arizona

Holding Baby Arizona, I love babies!!! Image

Image Bowling with Desi, I miss that girl! Desi and I have a funny history. In fourth grade she was my best friend (even after I broke her finger) then I moved and we lost contact. In seventh grade we were reunited again, then once again I moved and we lost contact. And last year I just happened to get a job at the place she worked. This time I promise we won't lose contact :)

Out Of Place #2

Image One of my siblings drew this lovely picture. The Grandpa and Grandma clouds have wrinkles. Ha ha!

ImageMy Dad's squash from his garden

Image They're kissing!

Image We went to a China Buffet in St. George. I wish I could zoom in but I took it on my phone so it's all fuzzy. It says "Don't open this door use the orther one"

Image They wrote Nada on my tacos! There are things on my taco!

Image Good 'ol Fagstaff!

Image This car is peewey! It is like half the size of the arrow in the turning lane. Once again I can't zoom! grrr!

Image I'm getting really good at taking pictures while driving! This bus was on the back of a diesel. When I first saw it I panicked a little"That bus is going the wrong way! How did it even get on here?!" Sorry it's fuzzy

Image This is my closet... Every time I move I'm limited on place so I always leave my hangers and then I buy more when I get to my new place. A few months later when someone comes to visit they always, being the great people that they are, bring my forgotten hangers to me. I wish I could tell you I took all my clothes of their hangers to take this picture but I didn't... and sadly that's not even all the hangers. Don't listen to my dad it's not because the clothes are all on the floor. The clothes on my floor were the clothes from my dresser not my closet.

Image I forgot what the name of this church, Journey somethin' or other. It's in University Heights. Down the street from DeMiguel Elementary. It's bell is always up like this! I have never seen it down. Never. Isn't that odd?

Sorry it took so long! If anyone has any out of place things e-mail them to me! I'd love to see them! [email protected]

Proceeding, Smiling, and Dancing

"Sadness is easier because its surrender. I say make time to dance alone with one hand waving free."

"You have five minutes to wallow in the delicious misery. Enjoy it. Embrace it. Discard it. And proceed."

"Make them wonder why you're still smiling"

P.S. Watch Elizabethtown...you'll love it!
