Multiplicative Comparison type problems are explored in 4th and 5th grade. Â Â Here are some great resources explaining these problem types. Â There are several different types within the multiplicative comparison genre. Â Remember that the research says that it is important for students to understand the type of problem they are solving rather than “key words.”
