Hacking Generation Y promotes youth entrepreneurship by bringing the most brilliant and creative minds together through collaborative learning. Starting first in Silicon Valley, January 2015, and later in Israel, Jamaica and India. HackGenY plans to go global by providing those dedicated and passionate the tools to organize a 36 hour hackathon for over 1,000 youth under the age of 26.

 

Eligibility

  • Individuals (between 16-26 years old); Teams;
  • Teams of 5 people on average
  • Knowledge of either coding, design or great ideas

    How good well was the idea implemented?
  • Presentation
    How well does the project look like? How well did they present it? How interesting the pitch was?
  • Team work
    Does it look like the team worked well? Everybody was involved?
  • Originality
    How original is the idea? Does it looks like something you didn't see before?
