South Texas Aquarium with Grandma

This past weekend we went down to Corpus Christi to spend the day with my Grandmother.  Aquarium, a ferry ride, the beach, and dinner at the Golden Corral = Super fun day!!

Gulf Coast

We have tried many times to visit the beach when we go to Corpus and it has never worked out.  This past weekend we finally made it happen!  The water was so warm and the kids loved running in the waves.

Sea World!

Some pics of our adventure to Sea World a few weeks ago.  It was a gift from Brian's work for him being there 5 years!  Thanks for the fun day City of San Antonio!

Saturday Fun Day

Saturday started out with breakfast tacos and donuts.  Yumm!  We then headed out in the cool 65 degree weather to the park.  So nice to be out in jackets instead of melting in the heat. :)
After, Lyza and I hit up some garage sales and found Peter two Sheriff Woody toys.  He and Cayte were both in heaven and the fight over who gets to play with them continues. . . :)

Flowers and Legos

This weekend we played copy cat and went to the San Antonio Botanical Gardens after having seen pictures of our friends doing the same a few weeks ago. They have a Lego exhibit right now, wherein they've placed a series of large Lego sculptures around the garden. There may also have been a surprise ending.  Here are the results...

Everyone was miniaturized... 

We saw some Lego sculptures...Lyza's favorite was the rose, which was taller than her...after she'd been restored to full size...

Peter found some pumpkins he liked....

Of course we saw some very beautiful flowers too...

We also ran into scarecrow Timmy...

But sadly, the Hoff was no where to be seen.  So I don't know if that is a surprise ending, or not a surprise ending.  I guess I'll leave it up to you to decide.
