Jace is 9!

Where has the time gone and what happened to our little, round faced little boy? This guy is growing up so fast and we are so proud of the young man he is turning into. His requested cake: german chocolate brownies!

Christmas is in the Air

On our way home from Thanksgiving in Mountain View, we stopped in Ogden and took the FrontRunner down to Temple Square to see the lights. We always have a good time and enjoy the time on the train.

Leia Turns 4

Leia celebrated her 4th birthday with a few a her friends. She didn't want a cake so we made pink and purple cake pops, perfect for small hands.

Fright for Sight

Jenna and I participated in fundraiser for our friend Reese who has a degenerative eye disease and will eventually be 100% blind. I have done this run before, but it was fun to do it with Jenna. I ran the 5k with my friends Kami and Kim and Jenna did the kids run. I wouldn't say running is something I love to do, but I like that I can do it, if that makes sense....

Hamblin Family Get Together

Before Devan and Keri's baby gets here, the Hamblins got together for a fun day. The girls enjoyed pedicures and lunch while the boys visited the Air Force Museum. We finished the night off with swimming and dinner. These times are so fun!

Visiting Grandma

We made the trip to Star Valley in September for Grandma's birthday. Most of the kids, grandkids, and great grandkids were there.

Jace Keeping Busy

Jace has been kept busy this fall. He participated in flag football and also earned his Wolf badge in 6 months. Since then, he has been working on his arrow points until he can advance in December. Sure proud of this guy!!

Logan Bike Trail

We took advantage of the last of the warm days and headed to Logan to check out a bike trail. It was a lot of fun with all the kids riding their bikes and Brogan in the bike trailer. However, Leia didn't last too long before she was tired and rode with Brogan. It is a beautiful trail that led us to the river and we ended the ride at the park for lunch.

Brogan began the trip with clothes that actually fit him, but before we even got started, he fell into a small ditch when we picked up a small 4-wheeler for the kids. Luckily I had some extra clothes in the emergency kit in the car. Unfortunately they were about 9 months too small......

1st Day of School: 2014-2015

All good things must come to an end and that includes summer, but it is always nice to get back into a routine. This year Jace is a 3rd grader with Mrs. Greer as his teacher and Jenna joins him all day as a 1st grader with Mrs. Haramoto (who Jace had in 1st grade)  They were both excited.
