This may be the very longest break we've ever taken from this blog. And I'm not sure why inspiration has hit now that we're in the midst of hurricane Irene hype and it's a storming outside. But here we are typing along and putting an end to the tardiness that is 6 months of nothing new on hamishandellen.blogpsot.com.
So much has happened since Februrary 23rd, when we were all going stir crazy from a long winter. SO MUCH. Visits with cousins in Boston. A Boston Red Sox game with T&S. Casco Bay island adventures. Spring's big debut in May. Hamish's lettuce garden. Rowan's bike riding. Heath's climbing. A house has sprung up 9 feet away from us and we now have a new neighbor. By the end of June, the Greenaway clan gathers on Block Island. By early July Miriam comes for a visit and takes everyone but Hamish back to Oregon with her. Visits with cousins on the west coast. Visits with long time family friends. Ellen and kids stay for an entire month with Grandpa Theron to prepare for Holly's wedding and there is so much summer action in Canby. Yes, a WEDDING! Even a trip back in time to the Jurassic to see dinosaurs...and not even one post!
We'll do our best to post pictures and videos of our adventures until we get all caught up.
