Merry New Year!

2011. A year of new-beginnings, opportunity and growth. 2010 was an amazing year that took us, as a family, very far. 1 day before the end of the year, I was able to go through the San Diego temple. What an amazing blessing. I quite often look back on my life and feel an amazing amount of gratitude to be where I am. Going through the temple was definitely a life-changing day. My mom went through with me and Terry, Josh, Maren, Jake & Sheena were there as well.

After the temple, we all met up with Hanmah, Lexi & Maddie for lunch at CPK. It was awesome having almost all of my siblings together. I felt an incredible fullness in my heart.

The next day, Hannah and I took the girls (Lexi & Maddie) to Disneyland (w/ Josh & fam). Our goal was to ring in the New Year at Disneyland. We made it 'til about 7:30p and were all ready to get some sleep. It was the first time I've been able to take Lexi to Disneyland and it really couldnt have been a better trip. Josh and Maren had the whole park mapped out and we were busy with rides with very little wait time. It was really great to be able to spend time with Josh, Maren, Aria, Andie and Arwen :). Lex and I both agreed Space Mountain was the funnest. Lex is really a total daredevil. There is no way I would've enjoyed that ride at 10 years old. Actually, I'm pretty sure I was a teenager when I last rode it, and I was scared to death.

New Years Day was equally as fun. We went to lunch with Ben, Kali and baby David and then back to their place to visit with Aunt Phyl and Uncle John. I think we were all really happy to get the chance to visit with them. I hadnt seen Phyl in years...it was really cool.

All-in-all, California was a major success. Tiring, but a success nonetheless. Went through the temple, got to visit with family, went to DISNEYLAND!! and had some awesome bonding time with my sis!
