Daves Dog

Oh my heck this was the most random thing... Dave makes me laugh!! So the other night we were leaving Daves brothers house who lives a few houses down from us. I opened up the door and this black dog was just sitting on the door step. It caught me off guard so I slammed the door shut. Traci opened it back up and said it was the neighbors dog and it is always outside. I then got into my car (Dave and I both had our cars there for some reason) and drove home. I thought Dave was right behind me but he wasn't. After like five minutes he walked into the house carry this dog!! This was not a small dog. It was some sort of Spanish Cockrell mix and was a pretty good size. Dave told me that he felt too bad leaving the dog outside so he picked him up and put him in his truck under the feet heater so he could "warm up". So this dog was running around our house and Dave starts talking about how he wants to keep it. I told him he couldn't keep the neighbors dog. He then asked me how I knew it was the neighbors dog. I told him that was what Traci said. He didn't believe me until he called her up and asked her. I swear he is the worst listener. Anyway he asks me what he can use to make a leash for this dog. So i go and get him some ribbon and comes out with this dog on a leash. Before he returned his new little friend he made me take a picture of him and "his dog". Then of course he needed a picture of "both his dogs". One being the little ceramic dog that Dave insists on putting by our front door. He then took "his dog" back to the neighbors... who at this point were out looking for their dog! When he got back he spent the next hour researching dogs and talking about how we had a dog for the night!! He cracks me up!

On the 13th we celebrated my 25th Birthday! It was such a fun day! Dave had the house decorated and made breakfast. I went to lunch with my mom and sister and then did some shopping. We finished the day off with dinner at Market Street!

A few days later baby Avery arrived! We were so excited to finally meet her! Congrats Adrienne and Derrek! Dont mind that in the picture I look like I am trying to sit on Adrienne

We had a great Thanksgiving this year! Dave played flag football in the morning and then we went to his parents house for an early dinner with his family and Mimi. I had to get a picture of Dave holding Brooklyn this way. It is the funniest thing. He holds her like that when she is fussy and she loves it!

After we went to my parents for a later dinner with my family and my Grandma. Then we went and saw the movie Blindside. We loved it!

We left the next day and headed off to Costa Rica! We stayed at a new resortl in Guanacaste on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. It was so much fun! We did a jungle tour with a mountain water slide, horse back riding, and a cable line through the canopy. The hotel was kind of a far drive (like a $70 cab ride...it was ridiculous) from the city so we only went in two times. But luckily the hotel had lots of really good restaurants and was so nice we didn't mind hanging out there!

The night before Halloween Morgan and Heather Morzelewski had a party that we went to. Costumes were so hard this year. Dave wanted to be all these crazy things but they didn't really work with big belly so we ended up being a school teacher and the knocked up student. We also went to a murder mystery dinner at the Blacks a few days before that was really fun too! I of course didn't get pictures but Dave was Mr. T and I was a bond girl. I wish I had pictures of Daves costume because he of course got really into it!
