PICTURES OF THE BABY

By popular request, here are some updated pics of the little one! The ones with the cute little jean skirt are Easter pictures. Don't worry, I just put the skirt on for the pictures, talk about uncomfortable! She has a big enough problem with gas already, no need to make it any worse. You have to admit though, the skirt is super cute, practical it may not be, but very fashionable!
Rayce sure likes his sister, especially if he can hold her by himself! Look at how grown up he is!

Two wheels to freedom

I love to be on my bike. Whether it's my road bike or my mountain bike I love to be out pedaling. So the other day I loaded Rayce in the bike trailer and we went for a spin. When we got back he climbed out and went straight for his bike. He has attempted to figure out the whole pedaling thing a few times prior to this attempt and grew quite bored with it. This time he got it. He was cruising around the driveway before we knew it. He stopped once and one of his training wheels was in a low spot and as the bike started to tip I caught him, which was good because he didn't even let go of the handle bars. However yesterday while we were out riding bikes in the driveway he went on to the grass. I knew that at the angle he was sitting he would tip any second, so I let him go to see what he would do. To my surprise he made an amazing dismount and landed on both feet while the bike fell to the ground. It truly was an amazing moment for me. I was so proud of my son. Most people might not be as stoked as I was about this, but most people probably don't love to bike like I do. To watch my son get excited over something I love was awesome. I can't wait for when he and his sister get old enough that we can road and mountain bike together. Who knows I could have one or two new downhill champs on my hands. Or better yet, a Tour de France winner in the making. I won't accept anything less that eight consecutive wins. Take that Mr. Armstrong.

PRAY FOR CHARLIE

Some of you may have noticed the link "Pray for Charlie" at the top of our blog. Some of you may have clicked on it due to curiosity, but for those of you who haven't yet, you really should. About three weeks ago Mike was blog surfing and came across Charlie's blog. He couldn't get Charlie off his mind and finally pulled up the site to show it to me. Come to find out this little guy's parents were friends of mine in high school. Little adorable Charlie has bacterial meningitis and has been at primary children's hospital for 40+ days. This sweet little angel is fighting each and every day to get better and he could sure use all the help he can get. So if each of you could remember an adorable little 9 month old who is fighting for his life in your prayers, it would be much appreciated.

NOFX May 3rd.

To most of you this post will not mean much, but to a select few.........bring an old shoe to throw.

One of my favorite bands is playing is SLC May 3rd. It has been about 10 years since I have seen these guys live and I was a much younger more immature (I know, hard to believe) person then. But for at least one more night I will don the studded belt (that got hung up long ago) and punch my way back into the pit to get a little crazy and act, you guessed it like I am 22 once more. My beautiful wife is somewhat excited to go. I think it is more that some friends will be in town to go with us. Yeah they are coming to see Lanie, but they picked that weekend so we could all go to the show.

To those wondering, yes, Lez is going. I took Lez to her to her first punk show during the Olympics when Pennywise played. I think she had a good time although I don't know if she had seen anything like that before. Somewhat organized mayhem. We have been to a few other good shows together, but this one will be one of the best. I know she may not be as stoked as I am, but she rules for going and having fun with me.
