I’m going through a few items at a time. Some are things I bought from other artists, some from antique and vintage dealers, and some things were made by me. I will add more to this post over the next several weeks.

1. French Decoupage Dress Form - $70

This was an old wicker mannequin form that I decoupaged with pages from an antique French book. I used it many years as a prop for my jewelry pieces. At one time, I had it on a vintage coat stand for my vendor shows. I considered aging it with a wax stain, but I’ll leave that for the new buyer to decide.
This is about 28” tall.

These are hand soldered by me. They are on large ball chains, but look pretty on vintage ribbons, too!

3. Dove of Peace - $50

I made this necklace using a Rycraft family pendant. I used dark amber colored, faceted, glass beads, topped them off on either end with yellow jasper gemstone beads, all put together with sterling silver wire, including the hand-forged, hammered, swirly clasp. The silver has been aged on this one, too. I love the extra little swirl on the clasp! I really enjoyed doing the metalwork… I hope to do more later this year.

4. One of a Kind Hand Hammered Swirl Choker - $50
This was an experiment that actually worked! I used a 16 gauge steel wire to bend, twist, and hammer into the shape I wanted. I used it for decorative display, but who says you couldn’t wear it? I would suggest spraying with a clear sealer so it doesn’t leave a dark mark on your skin. It is functional though… see photos for showing it opened up.

I bought this wonderful pincushion box nearly 20 years ago. Held on to it because I love Stacy’s work. But it’s time to go to another collector. Buy it before I change my mind! 🫣
The strawberry is heavy, but securely fastened to the lid. And the lid… oh my, the lid! Just look inside! It’s the sweetest stitching ever!
The box measures about 3” x 4” x 1 1/2” tall. It’s almost 5” tall including the pincushion and strawberry.
It has been distressed and aged to perfection.

6. Pincushions from Old Quilt - $15 each SOLD
I made these from an old quilt. They are about 5-6” across.

7. Paisley Heart - $20 SOLD
Made from an antique paisley throw, this heart can be a decorative accent or use as a pincushion.
Size: about 7” x 9”.
8. Vintage Wicker Wall Basket - $40
This adorable vintage wall basket is ready for your dried flowers or anything else you can tuck in it. It is a sweet salmon color, painted long ago.
Size: 15” x 18”
9. Antique Victorian Basket - $75
I’m torn about parting with this one, it if it sells, I’m ok, and if it doesn’t, I’ll use it in my vintage decor.
Some searches show this as a wedding basket, and others say it is a funeral basket. Regardless, it is a wonderful old basket for your flowers. It has the original tin liner, too!

10. Old Wooden Bobbins - $8 each or $21 for 3
I have 26 available. These antique bobbin / spindles still have the thread wound around them.

11. Vintage Cotton Flannel Child’s Dress - $10
I’ve had this a few decades, often displaying it in my workroom. It’s old and worn, a few minor spots and a few holes as seen in photos. Handmade, with no buttons or buttonholes.
Size: 21” long x 11” across the front just above the gathers.
12. Antique Overshot Coverlet Pillows - $40 each
These hand-stitched, Americana pillows will be perfect for your patriotic decor! I made these from an antique coverlet.

13. Primitive Christmas Goose - $125
This amazing goose was made about 20 years ago. I’ve always put it out with my folk art Christmas decor. It has been painted, baked, sanded, dusted with cinnamon… all the delicious steps that prim artists do to age their work! The artist’s first name is Mary… and I forgot her last name. I have a few miniature book ornaments made by her in a previous post.
Size: about 25” from the tip of its beak to the tip of its tail.
14. Antique Paisley Lavender Sachets - $12 each
These lavender and flax seed sachets are made from antique paisley throws.
Toss them in a wooden bowl or on a silver tray… or in a drawer for a soothing lavender scent!
The sachets are filled with 2:1 ratio of lavender and flax seed. I use the flax seed for a bit of weight.
The sachets are about 4-4.5” long.
15. Folk Art Bird Pincushion / Ornament - $50
Inspired by an antique fabric eagle, I drew a pattern and made my own eagles. Each bird in this collection is a slightly different shape as I adjusted the paper pattern each time I cut out a new bird.
All are made from antique quilts, ca. early 1900s. The front of the eagle is the front of the quilt, and the back is the backing from the quilt.
Each eagle has an antique bone ring sewn on the back for hanging on a nail, or loop an antique ribbon through the ring for a decorative hanger.
An antique button is used for the eye.
This can be used as a pincushion. It also looks great as the centerpiece for a wreath!
I will include a length of vintage seam binding ribbon.
I’ve added a label from the old quilt fabric with my name and year made.
