new family pictures

We are all alive and well in the hutcheon home - despite the lack of activity on our blog!! Raising 3 kids is a little INSANE and I usually feel good if I get us all dressed and fed each day. Blogging has fallen to the bottom of my priority list - right behind showering! ;> I'm not even going to attempt to catch up on what I've missed the past 6 months. I'll just give a very brief synopsis: Cannon is an awesome baby. I had to work through 2 hard ones to get a good one! He's nice and adorable and sweet as can be. We all had an awesome summer complete with camping, lots of cabin trips, running through the sprinklers and eating lots of popsicles. Fall has been awesome so far but I'm not ready for winter. Clark and Ava can't wait to shovel the snow - - so at least some of the people in our house are excited for the cold weather. Clark turns 5 next week and he is dying to go deliver his bday invitations - - - so that's all for now. We'll see how much I post in the next 6 months. Maybe not at all since I think we've lost all our readers. Anyone out there still????

I can't belive my little Cannon will be a week old tomorrow. It's so sad!!! I want him to stay 5 or 6 days old FOREVER. I want to freeze him in his little state of perfection. I can't get enough of this child. I'd heard that easy babies existed, I just didn't belive it until this little thing came in to my life. He eats well, sleeps well, poops well and hardly ever cries. Not to mention that he's the cutest thing I've ever seen. And he's the BEST to cuddle with. And yes, I'm absolutely in that state of utter and complete newborn intoxication. It's great. In fact, I'm keeping this post short because I want to go hold him again!!

Just so you know......

I can hardly wait! One week from today and we'll have a new baby in our family! We are super excited. I'm pretty much done waiting so we've scheduled an induction for the 28th. Seems like a good bday to me! I've got a list of stuff I want to get done before then so hopefully we'll be all ready when the day comes. We are still undecided on the name so send over any good boy names if you have them!

We spent the past few weeks working on our kitchen. It was a big project that required MANY hours of painting. We still have a few small things to work on but mostly it's done now! Wahoo.
