We are passionate about web hosting technology — our enthusiasm and knowledge mean we go above and beyond when it comes to support, system development and supplying reliable platforms backed by high-spec hardware. Every hosting account is personally cared for by our support team.

01 About our data centre

One of the first UK suppliers to use free cooling — among the most efficient data centres in Europe in 2017. 100% certified renewable energy, supplied by Ecotricity. No offset schemes. No carbon credits.

02 Reforestation

The data-centre managers have contributed to reforestation projects in Devon, Somerset and South Wales, and currently support The Alladale Reserve, north of Inverness.

03 Cold aisle containment

Cold aisles are sealed at either end with a ceiling installed to trap cold air at the front of the racks. The rest of the hall runs hot (30–35 °C), so the air conditioning has less work to do — and air flowing through the servers stays around 20 °C.

04 Free cooling

A highly efficient way of using the UK climate. Whenever the outside temperature is below the water returning from the data centre, that outside air does the cooling. For most days — and almost every night — the chillers are doing very little.

06 What is green web hosting and do you offer it?

Green hosting means your website is powered by 100% renewable energy. Our hosting partner was one of the first in the UK to use free cooling in their data centre and runs entirely on energy from Ecotricity, the UK's leading renewable energy provider. It's reliable, fast, and good for the planet.

07 Do you manage social media for businesses?

Yes. We offer bespoke social media management packages covering Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and more. It takes the burden off you while keeping your business visible and active online.

08 How long does a new website take to build?

It varies by project. A standard brochure site typically takes 4–8 weeks. More complex projects — e-commerce stores, custom platforms — may take a little longer. We'll always give you a clear timeline upfront.

09 Do you work with small and independent businesses?

Absolutely. We love working with small businesses, sole traders, charities and independents. We focus on forming lasting relationships rather than one-off projects, and we'll always take time to properly understand your business.

10 Do you offer ongoing WordPress support and maintenance?

Yes. We look after many clients on an ongoing basis — hosting, maintenance, updates, email management and general support. We're always here when you need us.

11 How much experience does Hypergalaxy have?

Over 15 years of experience in digital and printed marketing. Matthew and Michelle have worked across web design, AI integration, print, social media and hosting for clients ranging from sole traders to large commercial organisations.
