I'm super excited for this show.



I didn't really like the last version and I went to the play at Tuachan years ago and hated it.  This version looks so raw and real.  I love that the actors sang the songs while filming.  Songs need to have emotion.  Especially when they're for a musical.  I'm going to Twilight #10 (feels like there has been this many) tomorrow night.  I seriously hate watching #1) bad acting & #2) bad story lines but I'm going regardless.  Figure that one out.  I definitely would go to the midnight showing of Les Miserables if they were going to have one.  I'll be in Salt Lake for Christmas, anyone interested in going to the show with me?

ps.  Anne, you have just made my list of favorite actresses...you are right beside Renee Zellweger (Bridget Jones hello!! mwa) oh, and Amanda Seyfried, seriously, how did you get this part?  I'm pretty sure Twilight had an opening for another vampire.

I wanted to start a new tradition since this is the one vacation that we have done pretty much every year since I was 8 or so. I planned out the "1st Philipoom Family Olympics" and the theme was superheros. I didn't get a pic of Kaiya; she was the Hulk. And I was the girl from Avatar but that pic was too ugly to make it on the blog. :) Anywho, the games were a bomb. Next year will be better. I promise y'all.

hair / pelo

it's been windy and a little chilly lately...and by chilly, i mean 80-90 degrees versus the 100-110 degrees it's been the past 2 months. ten ten @ 10 months. check the hair....awesome.

we visited my family in july and for once ALL the grandkids were in one place to get a few snapshots.  here they are at luke's house after fhe.

like my title to this post?  i thought it was pretty clever.

my sis Stacey texted me this a month ago and usually i don't like stuff like this but i thought it was too funny to not share. it's true and sometimes the truth is down right hilarious. 

another funny thing; we were driving and i saw a sign on some guys car that said "bankruptcy lawyer." sometimes when i read things as we're driving i'll say it out loud. so i said, "bankruptcy" and issac repeated this scene:

that's when i laughed. i laughed like this (the second laugh of seven's in the video below).

i was driving and was laughing so hard that i'm sure some other drivers got scared and thought i was having a seizure.

isaac has the funniest sense of humor. he doesn't show it to many people but when he does it's the best.
