After many years of writing here at Illimitable Men, which eventually became a crawl of very infrequent posting, this blog has officially been retired.

The man I am now is very different from the one who first begun writing this blog, and I can honestly say, in over the decade that has passed, although I have not accomplished all I set out to – I have grown in immeasurable and significant ways that make me even better equipped to carry out this mission, than I was when I first began.

Naturally, this is the end of an era. Illimitable Men as a project is done, but I am not – I am still writing. To mark the beginning of a new era, I launched a new blog over at Substack called The Sovereign Citadel

It is my express hope, will and intention to make The Sovereign Citadel what I had always wanted IM to be (and to be honest, feel it failed to be due to my publishing inconsistency – the ultimate resource of individuation for the thinking man) – although I do believe it bears worth saying that I’ve finally reached a stage of growth in my life where I think it is appropriate to write for women too. So if you notice a shift in my tone, that is why. It’s not a different person, but also – it is – that is to say, I have grown. So no, I have not abandoned my original mission – merely expanded it.

Nonetheless if you enjoy my writing, please go and follow me over at my new blog (you may think of it as a sort of IM v2) – The Sovereign Citadel (https://thesovereigncitadel.com) to keep up to date with my latest work.
