Scott's Funeral

My Dad's brother, Scott died recently. The funeral was very nice. Aunt Julie spoke and made us all cry. The most spiritual thing was when the cousins came up and sang Families are Forever. We love Uncle Scott. He loved us, and was always with our family, and spending time with us. He was an awesome Uncle. Now he is probably happier because he's not in pain anymore. With the funeral, we got to see our cousins that we haven't seen in a long time from Nevada and Utah. We will miss Scott, but we know he will be doing missionary work in heaven with Grandpa Fleming and Aunt Ronda. We love you Scottt. Best wishes goes to Debbie and kids. :)ImageImageImage

Starting School

Okay this is a little late, but we had some cute pictures of us kids getting ready for school. There is a big day where we just split and sort through school supplies. We set them all out and then we mark off our supply lists. It's kind of fun to do, but there is often results of fighting over a certain color of white board marker or a highlighter. Oh well at least mom always seems to work it out. We got these awesome backpacks from Costco this year. They are really supposed to be hiking bags, but they work great. They are very padded so they help a lot when we have to carry big bulky books. There's also a lot of pockets which keeps the backpacks very organized. Anyways... Here is the mess that we created on the ping pong table getting ready for school.

Sedona

A family in our ward invited us to go to Sedona with them. We got to stay in their grandparents condo. It is so beautiful and big enough for our two families. The kids were in heaven with the three swimming pools and Jacuzzis. We went to Grasshopper Point, Slide Rock, and West Fork hike called Call of the Canyon. This hike was beautiful and fine for little people. Ammon had to be carried a couple of times, but that's okay. At the end, there was a neat little pool. It was all natural water coming out. It was really pretty up there. We played in it and it had a little slide to go down. It was very slippery though and not even I could stand up. I had to crawl all over the rocks to get up to the slide. We also went to Grasshopper Point. This was a cool place where we could go cliff diving. Maddi went off the 10 ft one. Mikki jumped off the 30 ft one many times. It was so much fun. Then the little kids just waded in the pool. We went to Slide Rock the next day. This place is crowded I tell you. It is lots of fun. You just slide down rocks and sometimes you get buried underneath the water. We went on our stomachs all throughout. That was fun. If you do that, you go much faster. There was also cliff diving there too. We got burnt to a crisp though. I love Sedona. It's beautiful red rock and the awesome sunsets really compliment the whole experience. Image

Girls Camp!!!

We got the chance to go to Girl's Camp this past week. Mommy was a Cabin mom. Mikki was a 4th year, and Maddi was a first year. It was so much fun. Our ward came closer together and we shared many funny memories. There were very many spiritual moments when we just cried and other ones where happy moments. We didn't get bitten by very many bugs but that's okay. We had a lot of family up there so it was lots of fun. It was the most fun I've had in a long time. The Fleming games were a hit when we just had some down time. The girls wanted to play the what if and then game a lot. Mommy even told some of the girls bedtime stories to calm their fear of the bugs. Yea mom!!! We had fun singing all the songs and doing the crazy actions. Testimony night seemed to be everyone's favorite night. It was really ridiculous that we all could not stop crying though. I think the bus ride was the funnest part. Oh do you know what your weenis is??? We found that out on the bus. It's your skin on your elbow. Mommy stood up and announced it to the whole bus. Oh well We Love Camp!!!

Temple Trip

We just took a temple trip to the Mesa Temple. We took a little of our extended family. There was four women and four men. Small group I know. It was an amazing experience. We had family names. We had to wait for almost about 2 hours until we could get in. It was fun and we got to do lots of names. We had a blast going to Neilsens Frozen Custard or something like that. But I don't like that place anymore since it bought out Iceburg. It took away our tradition. oh well. We went to the Visitors Center and we saw The Reflections of Christ exibit. It was really spiritual and pretty photographs. You should stop by and see them sometime.
WE LOVE THE TEMPLE!!

Meghann's Gymnastics

I think we have finally found something that Meghann enjoys. She is awesome at gymnastics. She is taking a class for the city and she is doing great. Mom signed her up for a beginners class because Meghann had never taken a class before. After the first practice the coach was very impressed. The Coach moved Meghann into the Intermediate-Advanced class. She's probably the youngest ones in the class. Meghann can do a somersault, a handstand, a cartwheel, and she almost has her round off mastered. I went to her practice, and I have to say she's pretty good at it. (I'm so jealous she can do that... can you tell?)
