Maddie Lynne

Picture catch-up. We didn’t have internet for a while and updating my blog via my phone or turning on a hot spot was just a little to time consuming and took a lot more effort ha! Parker is back in school so we got internet again, we just didn’t really need it over the summer so we didn’t want to have to pay for it. These pictures are the end of my pregnancy to Maddie becoming a part of our family! She has been the greatest blessings in our lives! We love her so much! She is so strong and has a cute personality! She loves to smile and giggle. She loves for you to carry her around and look at anything and everything!

29 Weeks Pregnant! Totally rocking the Jamaica dress my parents brought back for me!

Well just to fill you in on what we’ve been up to lately, i’ve added a few photos that we taken! These past few weeks have been great, the weather has been all over the place, nice for a few days then the next its snowing and raining all week ha ha! Oh well the warm weather will be here soon enough! Parker is in his last week of school and has finals this week, then he will be finished…he can’t wait, nor can I. but then he’ll have to ditch me again for work ha 😉 We were blessed  to make it to the Temple twice in the last two weeks. That’s like a record for us we had some pictures but it was so windy when we went that they didn’t turn out the best. I love going and feeling the Spirit and just being at peace. It is the best place EVER!!!

Image

I always have to have some sort of treat, seriously these are the types of things that I have pretty much lived off during this pregnancy! So I made some “better than anything” cake! It was good, Parker says I could have probably eaten the whole thing by myself, he’s probably right 😉

ImageImage

The weather was so nice two weeks ago that we went out and had a BBQ! We had some hamburgers, I never really wanted any until the last little while, they always sounded so gross. He loves to use his CampChef and I don’t mind one bit. Things ALWAYS taste better when made outside! I love this man so much!

Image

We even walked down to Deseret Book today and then we just had to stop at Kiwi Loco and get some ice cream/ frozen yogurt! I would say we totally deserved it, there and back was about 3 1/2 miles! It was a great walk though and once again the weather was SO nice!

30 Weeks Pregnant! Parker tells me my cheeks are starting to get a little fatter now ha ha!

31 Weeks Pregnant! Little Maddie Lynne is getting so strong and I love to feel her move, but at night it gets a little crazy. Have you other moms to be found ways to sleep a little more comfortably? I sometimes have a pillow on my side but I have always been a “tummy” sleeper and really miss that!

Image

31 Weeks Pregnant! So far I haven’t noticed any stretch marks which is great and my rings still fit! Hopefully it stays that way but if not I know it will all be for a great cause none the less! Parker enjoys how much he gets to feel Maddie move now that she is stronger. We also like to shine a flashlight on my tummy and watch her go crazy!

Image

We went down to Idaho Falls to get a little baby shopping done and of course had to check out the Easter things! We found some Cookie Dough Oreos, we had heard about them but haven’t been able to find them anywhere but Target. They are super good but I can only have like 2 and i’m done, they are pretty rich.

Image

While Parker was at Priesthood Session I made some cookies! I made sure to leave a few for him when he came back ha ha!

Image

I LOVE my Cotton Candy machine and made some in-between the Saturday sessions of General Conference! Like I said-sweets have been my favorite during this pregnancy! Most of all though I’d say I’ve loved to have fruit, strawberries, grapefruits, grapes, whatever really. Pizza from Little Caesars has been a craving throughout this whole pregnancy too!

We are super excited for Easter! We love holidays and totally enjoy doing all the fun things that come with each one! Looking forward to decorating Easter Eggs! Are there any fun traditions that you and your families do? I am so glad that I married a man that loves to do those things as much as I do! I love my amazing “growing” family! I can’t wait too meet our little girl! She brings us so much joy already!

Pregnancy Timeline Photos!

So I’ve decide to share the pictures that I do have of how my pregnancy has gone! It’s really fun for both Parker and myself to look back at these pictures and see all the change! Some photos aren’t the greatest but I wanted to put them on anyways just to see the slight changes. We are terrible at taking them every week so a few weeks are missing here and there ha ha! We’ll start with the earliest one I have (Parkers phone died and we lost some of the earlier pictures) but they are still fairly early!

The week that goes along with the picture is underneath the picture.

 28 Weeks Pregnant!

It sure has been a really fun journey! We enjoy our sweet little princess so much already and love to feel her move/kick/punch/hiccup…and all of the above! =) Some nights are rough cause she is so active but I am okay with it because I am so thankful for this opportunity that I have to be a mom!

New moms out there what are/were things you couldn’t have survived without? We are starting to do a little shopping here and there and I really need and would like to know what you all thought was super helpful!?!? Thanks in advance for any heads up!

I am currently 28 weeks and we have our next checkup this week. Ya me, I get to do the glucose testing and other routine checkups for 28 weeks! So far everything has gone great at all of our appointments but I do measure I little small but for now my Dr isn’t really to concerned…we’ll see how this weeks appointment goes!

Time feels as though it is going by so fast to think that soon we will get to bring our little Maddie Lynne into this world! We love her so much already! Other times I feel as though the time is passing slowly and I just already want to meet her! Glad to have the time to prepare though!!!

Pregnancy and family updates!

I need to get better at this blogging thing and I guess the best way to do that is to just keep doing it! =-)

Things have been going well and I am now 23 weeks into my pregnancy. It is so exciting and I love to watch our little girl move around and to feel her kick. I’m sure she’ll be like her parents and take up soccer cause boy oh boy does she kick! It is fun to go to our appointments and listen to her little heart beat and going to our ultrasound was super exciting!

Image

Here is our little princess! We have decided on the name Maddie Lynne Seitz! We are already so in love with her and can’t wait for her to join our family! I’m actually starting to look pregnant and some of my clothes are getting a little on the tight side, (can’t say i’ve ever experienced that before,) so buying some new clothes will soon have to happen) ha!

Image

Parker is doing well in school and is really enjoying learning new things everyday. He is still trying to decide if he want’s to be an optometrist or a physicians assistant, but for now he still has time to decide because most of the requirements are the same. Whatever it is it will be somewhere in the medical field. Its super fun for me to have him at my appointments because he can understand so much of what the Dr is saying and can help me understand too because of what he is learning! He enjoys getting to play basketball with the men of the ward and is excited for the mens league to actually start so there will be guaranteed games!

This week we were called to be in the primary in our ward! We will be teaching the Valiant 9 class. It will be a fun learning experience for us because we have only ever taught Jr Primary, so we’ll have to shake things up a bit with our style of teaching. We are super excited to serve though and I love singing Primary songs so it will be fun!

The newest part to our ever growing new adventures!

ImageToday was a great day! We are pregnant and at our appointment today we were able to hear baby’s heartbeat for the very first time! It was so exciting plus comforting to know more about our baby as the weeks role by! We are excited to have our little “tie breaker” (no worries I will make sure to raise them as a Ute, but I know Parky will be trying his hardest to insure our baby is a Cougar) be apart of our family! We are due June 1, 2014!!! Parker was so excited and has been so fun and cute to watch as the day has progressed. When he returned home from school he told me he was so excited that he told everyone he talked with that he got to hear his baby’s heartbeat for the first time today!

I’m 12 weeks along and it has been a killer but I know it is all worth it! I may not get a lot done, or even a little done, but i try my best. We love going to stores and eye shopping for baby stuff but we’ll wait on that till a little further on down the road, it’s still fun to do though. Our journey to get to where we are now has been tough but I can gladly say that with the help of The Lord all things can happen! We are so excited to have this little piece of Heaven be in our lives.

Apart from all of our excitement we have been so excited for the Christmas season, we have been listening to Christmas music for a while now, have our Village set up, have our tree up, and most of our gifts wrapped and under the tree, along with other various decorations throughout the house! We think Christmas deserves more than just one month of celebration ha ha! Looking forward to Thanksgiving with Parkers family and Christmas with both families!

A change with the seasons!

Well I figured it was time to jump on the blogging train and share a little about us and what we’re up to. We moved up to Rexburg Idaho so that Parker could attend BYU-I. He enjoys his schooling and is doing well! We really like the small town feel that Rexburg has and are happy to live in such a great place. We love the holidays and are super excited to celebrate and be with our families. Halloween is just right around the corner and we’re a little slow on getting our pumpkin carved and costumes ready but we still enjoy the kids it brings out in us…good thing we both LOVE to decorate and do all the fun things the Holidays bring!
