Isaiah Thacker is the author of the forthcoming Witch of the White Rose, a fantasy novel chronicling the adventures of an apprentice witch in a land where magic is forbidden. After four years of studying Computer Science by day and writing stories by night, Isaiah determined he enjoyed writing prose more than writing code, leading him to where he is today. His stories focus on fantastical heroines and heroes in worlds of magic and mystery, from crafty witches to otherworldly half-humans.

Isaiah currently lives in West Texas. When he’s not writing, he enjoys tabletop games, story-driven video games, and reading through his ever-expanding to-read list. In 2023, he completed the year’s NaNoWriMo challenge, and one day, he hopes to finally finish reading all of Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere books.

Isaiah’s first published work, The Emerald Witch­—a short story following the heroine of Witch of the White Rose—is available for free through his newsletter.
