We'll see if this lasts

So, why am I here? I started a page on Face Book so I might just as well right?

The actuality is that neck is watching a spatter flick and I am so totally freaked out that I needed my mind on something else. I am never Ever staying in any kind of a cheesy motel Ever again!! Neck looses he will have to pay real money for my next stay…no more $50.00 pink rooms.

On another note…I am back to school. Right now I just finished my mid term for my second class, so I have a bit to go. My goal is to be done by the time I am 40. It is an audacious goal, but we will see. Since I will be practicing my written English I am sure you will see an improvement in my writing in no time. Please take my last statement in the spirit it was intended. I am getting my confidence, but my spelling and grammar will continue to be bad. If everything was in a proper business English I would be forced to off myself.

To conclude and because I am kind of forced to…I am not a terrorist!

we can still trust some of them

It's been awhile, but... Neck left the country on Saturday for the Ice cube and as always something went wrong. After the last trip I got ACW and his wife's phone number for the next emergency, but this time even those two could not have helped.

Monday I came home for lunch to feed the boy. The house war very quiet and my trusted pooch didn't greet me when I came home. That is not unusual since she is 15 and deaf. On my way back to work I decided to check the house for the dog, and found her missing. If any of you are in the Baltimore area you know that Monday night was cold, to cold for an old dog. I combed the whole neighborhood looking for her yelling for her, knowing she most likely could not hear me. That whole night I slept down stairs running outside anytime I heard a dog barking...hoping it was her. I didn't spend 15 years with her to have it end with a dead dog in a snow bank.

Tuesday morning I called animal control, and no one had turned in a old yellow lab, but they suggested I call back later in the afternoon. And I did. The person on the phone told me that someone had called saying they had found a very old male yellow lab mix. I called thinking not many very old yellow labs were running loose in the area, and the caller was only a few blocks from my house. One of the children answered and I asked to speak to mom or dad and I got the lady of the house. I described my dog and we found that most likely she had ol'Pila in her possession. She starts crying and asked if I had seen the flyers. The family had posted flyers with pila's pictures all over town. In my grocery store and our ice cream place and on all light posts in their hood. To make a long story short. Pila is back on her bed. I will never be able to thank the family that kept her warm, gave her a bed and even a new name. In my heart I know they would have kept my sweet dog if they hadn't found me.

With thanks
Me

My name

ImageI thought this was interesting, and I could be the only one. This is a graph of MY name. The blue line represents first given names and the yellow is for middle names. I was born in 1971 that year 2 children (hopefully both girls) were named my name. My name used to me lame but it turned COOL! I blame my bubbling personality and my undisputed beauty.

Og ég get ekki beðið eftir að sjá þau aftur.

Sjáumstumst.

Back and Hot

Image I am back from Iceland were I stayed with my favorite sister, her husband and her children. I have not often had as much fun.

My first few days are as follows:

FRIDAY: Went to my aunt's brand new apartment and drank too much with my cousins, but who hasn't done that.

SATURDAY: Went to Menningarnott (people pic) with my sister, Neckbone, and my brother - in - law. We had some bus/taxi/credit cards being eaten by the ATM due to faulty machine issues, so we had a hard time getting back. No big deal. The $8.00 beers a pop kept our spirits up. We came back to a house full of sick kids. Nothing better after completing a-lot-o booze.

SUNDAY: My friends had Neck and I over for Reindeer, yes Rudolph might have been eaten. in fact, when we mentioned to The Boy that Rudolph was, most likely, being eaten at that very meal his deadpan reply was "can I have the nose." Great food, and the best friends any one can ask for. Miss them both every day, oh and they have great spouses, one of them I met for the first time as a husband last weekend.
