There's some bugs in this such as the light in characters eyes returning after being killed off, there should be changes in dialogue if there is only one other person left but I imagine this was more of a time constraint issue than anything.

I thought the character themselves was interesting because even in a "good ending", your character chooses to escape consequences in their own way.
If this were revisited outside of the jam, I would put in more scenes such as for death scenes and of course bug and dialogue fixes, but overall pretty alright.

Definitely on theme and hits all the challenges.

I like the idea but presentation needs work.

The actual game idea is solid and it works but needs additional bonuses or something to help with the point gap. The point total sometimes is too high to reach in 5 rounds and needs balancing. There should be more bonuses, the adrenaline stuff only appears randomly and there isn't a lot to get excited with gameplay wise. While the original Wheel of Fortune is kinda slow paced, I think Ring of Risk should be faster paced and really feel like you are risking it all.

The game screen tries to encompass all the elements. While the board is the most important, having the wheel (the ring of risk) off to the side and obscured doesn't look good. You can't see part of what's being spun as well the wheel itself should be a bit more than just red and orange. I think like WoF it should camera focus to the wheel while spinning.

The hostess just cycling through random animations, including karate chops is goofy and doesn't add to the atmosphere, which there isn't much. I thought when you lose she would kill you but you just get shocked. I think being shocked should be a consequence of getting something wrong.

there's no music other than the title screen, this might be a bug, But music would help the tension.

Straight to the point, I like the noodley boi.

Since the math aspect is central, improving the UI look and readability would be a good idea. If expanded, you could make it that you explore and find things with the camera moving on rails for each equation.

I are died. Schools should implement math equation horror into the curriculum.

Hey, the game isn't showing the full screen so it can't really be played except going through the dialogue at the beginning.

Are all endings in game? I could only get to endings and it's rather difficult to censor things to make new sentences

Really like this and I'm looking forward to the full release!

Won't run due to not finding a font on PC

Absolutely LOVED the art in this one. I will say though it was sometimes difficult to figure out which flowers I could talk to and it was a matter of mashing enter to make sure I found all of them at least I hope. I found three endings unsure if there are more. Again, great art work.

How do you actually attain an ending?

In contrast to the previous, I actually like the use of all the original rpg maker assets for the items. I did feel overwhelmed at first and then got into it with each playthrough. I think this is good as a short game but if it were to move on to something bigger I would recommend more interactive type crafting menus than just text and learning new recipes as you progress. While I did like that all the assets were put to use  1) There is a script called Fixpixel which allows you to zoom in. Sometimes I had issues figuring out which plant was which and I think either bigger assets or the game being more zoomed in would help this. 2) If you gave this polish, have unique assets that don't look too similar. Good game! Had fun!

This game is sick I love it. Got to the sixth day and wouldn't allow me to potion so uh I guess I beat it?

My first asset pack! 145 Item icons for RPGs or any fantasy game!

Icons are in both sheet form and individual images. The size is 32 x 32.

Dope!

I usually see the next one of these horror jams up not too long after the current one. Is there going to be a 17th rpg maker horror jam soon?

Thanks for the feedback! I'll try to get around to making a post-jam version with fixes.

Hi, just joined. I'm a 2D artist that would like to work with some other contributors.

What a journey

:D

O:!! Fantastic! Thank you!

I went to twitter for more info on the jam and realized that only New Yorkers could join up. :( Any chance in the future of online submissions to jammers outside of the US in the future?
