Interesting for sure. Play worked well but obviously my Thinky isn't working so well. I'll put some more time into figuring it out now that I read that the mechanics change at each level. Interesting idea, reminds me of a never ending or same game type game I played a while back -- only in the sense that the mechanics/rules change at each level but it was always the same level. Feel free to unlock my # Lock game if you get a chance.

Wow, after being puzzled on level 3 (didn't read any instructions), I noticed that the blocks join and thereby create a complexity. Now that I know that, I was able to solve level 3 and enjoyed going further. Nice job here. Making the puzzles is as much of a challenge as making the game. I feel the same with my submission, please feel free to check it out. It has a built in (cheat mode) level editor and perhaps before the jam is over I'll add the ability for user submitted levels.

Hello all,
I'm pretty excited about my game idea and wanted to share the idea early to seek your suggestions.
I'll continue to update the published version during the remaining time in this game jam, so feel free to check back often to see the progress.
Here's a very rough start. Feel free to comment early with any ideas, or suggestions.
Since there are only 8 days in this jam I might not get it as polished as I like, but I do plan to make it fully playable.
I plan for a level editor, high scores according to solution times, increasingly difficult levels, and even making it mobile friendly.

nice mechanic idea with the magnet. a new take on the gravity shift type games that have been out there. well done.

I wasn't sure what two game genre's were combined here, but it adequately played as a shooter. I ran out of bullets and that was that.

nicely done. I get it, a city under the sea. nice characters and seems like there is a lot of gameplay here. I only tried it briefly but applaud your work on this one. I liked how the character became underwater equipped exiting the tunnel.

The mix of 'farming' + 'tower defense' definitely meets the goal there. nice look but I found it a little hard to figure out.

This was something out of the ordinary. I noticed a few things, when I chose 'watch' it was always a ball. After a couple batters were on base, the next batter was no longer showing but the baseball bat still hit the pitch. After a home run, the game glitched/ended. I didn't really figure out how to play it as intended perhaps.

A good amount of effort putting this one together. Clean and engaging UI. Nice take on the Stanley parable type game, well done.

Those web-grown spiders and game progression was on point to make it a challenge. Good job on this. I didn't make it past the first couple of minutes though. Would be nice to have gun upgrades, but overall nicely played and from the screen shots it seems that there is more to come as the game progresses.

Very clean, well animated but perhaps the play was a little confusing for me. I wasn't sure which hand was mine and didn't realize how to 'stand', instead of 'hit'. I think the order of showing cards for the player (card closest to the bottom on the screen?) and the dealer (top?) was off. Normally you would see all your cards and not the dealer's cards until the hand is done...hmmm?

Very clean and obviously a bit of work to make this one. I only briefly played as a way to try and view all play in browser submissions. well done.

There is a lot of game there. Well animated characters and seemingly quite a bit of game play. I only gave it a quick try as I try to get through and check all play in browser submissions to this jam. Well done. nicely polished.

Hello All:
I joined this jam and might be re-creating something I created a long time ago. Back in the days of Bulletin Board Systems (before the internet took hold), I created a TRS-80 (MS DOS/QBasic) version of the Murder Motel door game. It was a dial-in, turn-based, adventure where you used text based commands to explore a maze of locations, with the goal to find your target and murder them with a choice of weapons you find the parts for during your limited daily moves.
Here's an existing post that describes some of the game. https://breakintochat.com/wiki/Murder_Motel_(PC)
There is still a lot of time before this game jam begins and also a lot of time to work on it. In the time until then, please feel free to check out all my other game jam submissions at https://lostwords.itch.io/
Well done, good 3d Animations and characters. It played very well and the interface was very usable. You were very successful in making exactly as your video pitch described. I didn't play much or past many levels. I'm sure there is the possibility for numerous maze like additions that can be added, not sure if you have such -- for example. Have your character move to pick up a weapon or tool that can be used when the attack action is run, etc.
Liked the retro fighter style game and of course a BOXer ending up outside the Box met the theme well. The jumping, punching and extreme punch were satisfying along with the side-scroller contra style movement. "I am the strongest" was awesome to hear. I got to the point where there was a building blocking me from going further so I think that means I solved the game. If you could just add turning the character around based on the last direction the player walked, that would complete this already nice submission.
Sorry to hear. I see where you are coming from. I guess I'd call it a First Person Puzzler, but would need to put more puzzle aspect to the levels for sure. I guess I didn't put as much effort into the levels as needed. Once I proved the concept, I kind of lost momentum. Thanks for your honest feedback.
Nice collection of surprises and different gameplay features. I like the interactivity on the main screen and enjoyed the surprise of what game would be presented next. I can see how each minigame itself was some work, but of course after all are played, the player is of course looking for more games and surprises. well done.
Actually, the jumps only work when you are on a floor or platform. The sound plays when you press spacebar, so if you aren't on something, it won't jump but will still play the sound. I'll probably adjust that when the jam ends, that way the sound will only indicate a successful invocation of a jump.
I enjoyed this concept and found its movement smooth and controllable, although I had difficulty getting through the first gravity door. I guess I need more practice. I've seen other games with a 'flip' mechanic, but I particularly like this one. I look forward to more practice and making it further through the levels. Well done.
