Ah I'm sorry about that! We're aware of a bit of slowdown on browser for some devices - we recommend downloading the game to desktop for the most optimized performance!

Thanks so much!!

Thank you for playing!

Thanks for playing! Ah yeah the lag can become noticable on some devices as your build gets a hit crazier :) I definitely recommend downloading the desktop version (Mac and PC) for the most optimized experience!

Hey thanks so much for playing! I appreciate your critiques on the flock - there are definitely areas for improvement and we'll use this feedback when working on our full demo!

Thanks so much for playing and for the wishlist! We're aware about the rising pillar issue and will push a fix asap!

Hey thanks so much! The dynamic soundtrack is definitely one of my favorite parts of the game and I'd love to go over the entire thing to make it even more varied :)

I'll be sure to take a look and fix this! Thanks so much for reporting it

Hey thanks for playing! We're aware of the flipping walls bug and will push a fix soon!

This was so fun to watch and we appreciate the thoughtful critique! We've considered palette swap options and will explore that a bit closer to release!

Thank you! I'll work on a fix for both of these asap. We appreciate you playing!

Thank you! Excited to have you on board 🫡

Our goal is to release a mobile version eventually but that will depend on a few factors!

Heyyyy nice time!! And thanks for the compliments on the game!

Very fair! Our goal is to make every game as clear/intuitive as possible so thank you for that feedback!

Shoot, thank you for pointing this out. I'll take a look and get a fix pushed asap! Glad you're enjoying the game!

Thanks so much!! If you're interested in joining the speedrunning contest there's some info on that in the description!

Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed, thank you!!

There's a Fullscreen toggle in the settings menu :)

Fugue Shot is our genre-blending roguelike set in an endless dream, where you play through a bunch of different arcade-inspired game modes in a single run! You can collect different items, called Memories, to create game-breaking builds as you try to defeat the increasingly difficult Omens - manifestations of fears brought to life in this strange dream world.

We just released the pre-demo of Fugue Shot as we gear up for our full demo and eventual release on Steam and itch!

Play the itch Pre-Demo here

You can think of the game as “if UFO 50 was a roguelike” - we also take a lot of influence from Animal Well with our art direction!

In the Itch version, you can expect the following features:

  • 5 fully playable Omens
  • Over 40 run-altering items
  • 20 permanent unlocks and built-in progress saving
  • A lighter and more simple version of our final run structure
  • Unlimited runs, unlimited fun!

We’d love to hear your feedback, and we hope you enjoy the game! If you enjoy, it would also help us a ton to wishlist the game on Steam!

Thanks!

Very clever and well-presented, nice work LY!

SUPER SLICK!! I love how it's almost a metroidbrainia in how it introduces mechanics that you've technically had all along.

INCREDIBLE polish for a jam game, really impressive and fun!

Great work on this one, super clever combination of mechanics and an impressive amount of content!!

Love this one!! I remember your game Thunder Punch last year was one of my favorites, and this one is super fun and charming too

Awesome little game, impressive art direction for a jam game! I think camera controls could've helped with the 3d platforming. Great job!

Probably my favorite of the jam so far! Nice work!

Hello! Any plans to update with accented characters (especially Octavius font)? If not, is it alright if we manually add accented characters to the font ourselves?

Really appreciate this! I have some ideas for how I could make it more random/procedural going forward so stay tuned!

Thank you for playing!

Thanks so much!

Thank you for playing!

Thanks for playing! I'd love to, still sorting out in my head how that might work though.

Very satisfying arcade game, really cool how you implemented the two separate art styles!

Really polished, shooting and moving around feels great because of some of the effects you've added. And the art style is really nice too!

Tough as nails and really fun!
