Sorry to have read about your accident Tami...I will pray for a speedy recovery that is for sure...It is good to read up on family activities etc...
Beth and I are doing well up here in North Idaho, despite all the rain we've been and are getting. The Clark Fork River is swollen to the point of causing minor flooding in certain areas. And Lake Pend Oreille is at it's flood stage, again with only minor flooding issues. Anyone who has a stationary dock can float right over them right now. The water has risen that much!! The water should crest by this weekend with temperatures finally arriving to seasonal norms...
Since the weather this spring has been record setting for wetness, most everyone's gardens are way behind. And since we have such a short growing season in the first place, well, it doesn't look good for a very good harvest. But, there is always next year...
I hope all will go well at the family reunion and everyone will travel safely. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers...
Love, Britt

Me, pretending I was 13 again...
Not sure what most of you have heard. But here are the details. Last Monday, I tripped while practicing hurdles with Chey. I landed on the pinkie side of my left hand and my body came down on top of my hand, rolling over it like a rolling pin. I broke the last 3 fingers on my hand right at the middle knuckle and crushed the 3 lower knuckles. I go in for surgery tomorrow afternoon. They are hoping to be able to get them set with pins and wires, but may have to use plates and screws because there just isn't big enough bone to pin. Family and friends are taking good care of us, especially since I've been on lots of drugs for over a week now. And since mom and dad are having a fabulous time at Mari's house right now, Kristi is stepping in as mom and taking care of me after surgery for a few days.
Other than that, all is great here. Girls finished up track and loved every minute of it. Broc is in the middle of baseball and is a really great player. Only a few more weeks of school, although by the snow we got yesterday you wouldn't guess it. The kids are excited to start going to Tahoe. I think our first trip may have to wait a bit later into summer than normal.
Hpe everyone has a great week. We would appreciate everyone's prayers and thought for as speedy a recovery as possible. Thanks, love you all so much!!
Tami
PS: We have awesome pictures of my really messed up hand if you want to see. I'll email them to you, so we don't make those softies we have in the family pass out!!

I like this better than facebook because it is just our family. Many thanks to all who have initiated it and have helped me get logged in. Once I figure out how to add photos, I will. Beth and I are doing great up here in the North Idaho Panhandle. We love our area with all the mountains, rivers, lakes, and wildlife. I just found Wolverine tracks in the snow next to our home. Pretty neat!
Beth is still doing hairdressing in Clark Fork, and I still have snowmobile, jet ski, and ATV rentals. Snowmobile rentals most likely ended for this year, so next is the summer season. Last summer we fenced in a garden area 40'x60' so this will be the first full season for our garden. So, there you have it!

I went ahead and made some changes to the blog. You can see that on the right side are links to our individual blogs. Those are the only ones that I have So if anybody has one that I don't please add it. Also I changed the background because it was boring.

Authors
So I sent everyone an email from the blog that should easily walk you through a sign in procedure. You will use your own user name and password. You won't need to enter the iveytwines@gmail or iveyfamilyblog password. This way everyone can be an author and it shows who is posting. Let me know if you have any other questions.

The Smith's
Everybody is doing great in the Smith household. I am getting bigger and bigger everyday. I am now 27 weeks. Blake is in the championship for his city basketball league and so far his team have won all their games and they are doing great. Kennidi started dance a little over a month ago. So here are some fun pictures. Also McKinlee has to have tubes put in her ears, she has had about 8 ear infection in 9 months and most of those have been double ear infections. It's a simple procedure she should be just fine. We love eveyone and hope to see you all soon.

A different log in
Just an FYI :
If you sign in under the iveytwines gmail log in, then to settings, then permissions, you can email yourself an author invite which allows you to sign in under your own log in and password. That way when you post it shows who really posted and not just iveytwines. And you can keep iveytwines as a blog you contribute to on the same dashboard as your other blogs, if you have one.

How Fun
Hi everyone.
What a fabulous idea. We have our own blog, but I have been really bad lately at posting. Here is what we are up to.
Chey, Kal, Kas and Broc just finished up city league basketball. Chey also finished up 8th grade volleyball. She was team captain and played every second of every match. It was a rough season. They lost 5 players to bad grades. But they placed 2nd in league, so they were happy with that.
Basketball went well for everyone. Kal broke her wrist at the beginning of the season, so she was only able to play a few games at the end, and that was with a brace still on. It was fun watching Kas have to step up and fill Kal's spot. Broc played up an age group with the 3rd and 4th graders. He was just too fast and advanced to played with the 1st and 2nd graders. He did well and had a great coach.
So now that that's over all 3 girls have started track practice. Chey plans on continuing with hurdles (she placed 4th in the county last year), several relays and the high jump. Kal and Kas aren't sure what their doing yet. It's their first year and they are not the most naturally athletic, so they are still trying different events out. Broc started baseball practice this last weekend. It was freezing, literally, 37 degrees and windy. But he was so excited to be out on the field again. He moved up a league, to minors. So he will be able to start learning to pitch. At least that's what he really wants to do. He'll also be one of the catchers and play short and 3rd. Nait, well, he is everyones biggest fan. He and I spend lots and lots of time sitting in bleachers, taking pictures and driving around. But we love it. So we do it!
Thomas's job is going well. He's been home the last few months, more than usual. But his travelling is going to pick back up in the next few weeks. They have projects starting all over Cali., and one on Maui at the end of this year! I plan on going on that work trip with him!
I am also fully involved with planning our Stake Girls Camp. I am the stake camp secretary. We meet once a week and have lots to do between meetings. Along with being booster president and in the Primary presidency, I don't have much down time. But I wouldn't do it all if we didn't love it all.

Well, It's a Start
Hi Family,
I've never done this before, so I will appreciate any help anyone can offer. Feel free to add pictures, posts, music, videos, etc. The idea is that we will be able to post things here for our family to see. It's going to be kinda like a bulletin board/facebook! Please give me your feedback and feel free to post away!
