Christmas Musings

I love the questions of my sweet four-year-old! After seeing many pictures of baby Jesus wrapped in swaddling cloths, Jack asked me, "Mommy, was I born without arms and legs like Jesus was?"

Memphis Zoo

Visited Memphis for Nicole and Josh's wedding last month, and got to go to the zoo. Sammy was especially excited to see a black panther that looked just like his "Mow-Mow."

More fun with friends

We took a picnic lunch to the park at our local airport observation deck with some friends. Sammy and his sweet little friend climb the monkey bars together.

Labor Day at the Lake

We went to the lake house in Alabama for Labor Day and had a great visit with Chris' family! The boys had fun wrestling, fishing with, and torturing their new uncle Josh. Sammy spent a lot of time swabbing the deck with a broom. It was too chilly to swim, but we took lots of boat rides on the lake. Jack and Sammy did not like the wind blowing on their faces, so they spent much of their time hiding under towels or lifejackets. It was a nightmare combing Sammy's hair after an hour in the wind on the boat!

Buddies

We love getting together with our friends. These sweet sisters are two of Jack and Sammy's favorite playmates!

Family Trip to Marbles

We got to take a special trip to Marbles Children's Museum with Daddy in late August. Had a great time playing in all the fun exhibits. The boys' favorite was the peas and carrots ball jump.
