It is D-train's latest love. He loves to watch the Tigger Movie all dressed up and bounce around the house to the songs. He wears it everywhere - the grocery store, to pick up little K from school. He would even wear it to church if I let him. And thanks to the people that work at Harmon's, he knows how cute he looks in it. Everybody smiled and talked to him as if he was tigger. He soaked it right up. Loved every minute of it. I had to hide it for a few days in order to wash it.

K had parent teacher conferences this week and got wonderful marks. She went with Brian and I and it was great. Her teacher is wonderful, I can't say enough good things about her. As her teacher was explaining her work she came to a worksheet that K and missed one. Her teacher proceeded to ask K some questions, to try and help her understand better. "K what shape is that? Do you remember?" K shakes her head no. "K do you remember what color it is?" "Red", replies K. Then I look at K and ask "Did you not use that shape because it was red?" K shakes her head yes! Oh my! I started laughing and Brian just shook his head in disbelief. The teacher looked at K in amazement realizing what was happening. Then tells K "it is okay to use red on your school work." Brian then tells the teacher, "We don't know where she gets this, we don't encourage it at home." The teacher looks at K and says, "K I don't believe your daddy!"

Neither do I!

A conversation

Yesterday K was walking T home from the park while he rode his bike. I followed in the car because I am just that kind of mother. Every so often T would get stuck and K would give him a

little push. I was enjoying watching all of this when T says to K, "K I like you when you help me, but I don't like you when you hit me." Well said little man! It says a lot about their relationship right now. I of coursed laughed the rest of the way home :)

Twins

These are the sweet daughters of a girlfriend who used to live by me and gave me a call when she had these cuties. Arn't those hats darling? I wish I could remember the name of the gal in Heber that makes them. I will have to email my friend and let you know when I find out.

Well, we made it to five. Happy Birthday to the most amazing little boy I know!

Girl Friends

Ode to good friends. Here is to all my girlfriends! I have been blessed to associate with some of the most amazing women! I just wished they all lived closer to me. When I lived in CA I met some women who changed my life in so many good ways. (isn't it great when that happens?) and now that I live here, I have made even more close friends who make my life a good place to be. My good friend K bought my K a bedazzled phone the other day because she said, "when I was seven I would have loved something like that!" Well little K loves her phone (and so do her brothers, but we won't dwell on that). What a great friend to do such a small thing that made my little K feel so special. My CA girlfriends email me just to check in and keep tabs on me and I have a good friend from H.S. who is amazing at keeping in touch even when I am terrible at it (thanks M, since I know you will be the only person who will most likely read this :) I have girlfriends who always send me Christmas cards ( i love those cards) and those that find me a babysitter so I can go shopping with them at the last minute. And one who showed up to my house to drop by chocolate and a Caffeine free diet coke (because she knows it is my favorite). Yes, I am a very lucky women!
