I am longing for weather in the 80's. Sandal and shorts weather. I want to take my kiddo's swimming and on picnics. Brian went to Orange County, California this week on business to help them with the implantation of some of the things he has been working on. I was so jealous that he got to go back to the warm weather and beaches where we used to live. Where it was always warm enough to go to the beach and where winter is in the mid-60's. He tried to make me feel better by saying he was in the old ugly part of Orange County. But it didn't matter I was home sick all week because of it. I think Lake Forest, California is pretty much paradise and would move back in a heart beat! Here is was snowing! Gotta love Utah weather :) Ever since he got home I have been trying to talk him into surprising the kids with a trip down to Disneyland and to see some of our old friends. So far, I have had very little success. I told him I would settle with visiting Marcia and Jenny in Washington, and I think I still might have a chance with that one. Regardless, I just am missing my best friends and sunshine!

A good friend called last week and asked if I could take her head shot because a director at Hale Center Theatre had asked her to come in and audition for a part. I asked who the director was and she told me John Adams. I smiled because that was the husband of my high school drama teacher. I told her to tell them hi for me. Not sure if she got the part, but we are crossing our fingers. Takes me back.... good times :) And doesn't she have just the most stunning eyes? You should see her daughters all just as beautiful.
