My "Bucket List"

For those who don't know me or aren't interested you can skip this post. It has no pictures and just a long, perhaps boring to you, to do list, more or less.

This summer I participated in the Summer Reading Program at our public library. The main reason I do it is because if we complete the program we don’t have to pay library fines for a year. This is a blessing since I check out so many books at different times that I have a hard time keeping track of all of them. One of the things you could do to earn points was make a list of 100 things you want to do in your lifetime. Since I am in the last quarter of my life, I had a difficult time listing 100. I managed to come up with 80. I didn’t earn the points but I do have a list. Here it is:

CALL FAMILY REUNION 2012

The Call family reunion took place the weekend of August 3-5. We were lucky to be able to go down early to transport Alyssa and her family from the airport to my mom and dad's. We all had a great time. Activities included games, water slide, sandbox, water fights, wagon rides, wrestling, scavenger hunt, badminton, volleyball, basketball, lunch with mom and the "sister wives," the best food ever and a WEDDING! I for one had a great time. I wish I had had more time to visit with everyone but with almost 70 people there all weekend it was hard to get around.

The following pictures illustrate the grand time had by all.
These four pictures are of my nieces. The one with the long dark hair is Laissa, the third oldest grandchild of Jim and Beverly Call. Our son Jared is the oldest. Kevin, who was the groom is second oldest.
