Christmas Time again. I love this holiday , its the best time of the year. Well we had a Christmas Eve Party, this year we had almost the whole family over. Loved it! The kids and some adults made candy trains and frosted cookies. Yum! Oh and I have to say the sugar cookies tasted so much better this year. Thanks girls for making the cookies what a great thing to have my girls helping out so much. Holly read the Christmas story this year and Bailey accompanied us with her guitar in Silent Night. I really like it with the guitar and she did an awesome job. Grandpa and Holly had there see the Christmas lights night. The kids had a good time while most of the adults went to see a movie, thanks for the date night grandpa. It was weird without grandma this year but I'm sure she'll be glad to know we all survived . We look forward to her being home for the holidays next year.

Madison's In YW

Madison is in YW's now. Can you believe it? All three of my gorgeous girls in YW's together. How cool is that I would have loved that. Madi loves it , the combined activities are probably her favorite. I'm sure it has nothing to do with a certain cute boy. Here she is with her best friend Hannah. She looks so grown up---doesn't she.

Bailey's First Dance

Seriously how hard is it to sit down even once a week to post....apparently its difficult for me. So I'll try again. Doesn't she look beaUtiful. Alright Bailey had her first dance.. Homecoming with a friend named Bryan. I'm a dork and had a hard time helping her pin on his boutonnière. So garret got out the pliers ...it looked funny but hey it worked. They had allot of fun and I fell asleep before she even got home. What a lame mom-huh. I really tried,so the next day she filled me in on everything. Its so fun to watch her growing up and becoming such a great little adult.

Family Pictures
We had family pictures done last weekend. A funny thing happened the guy we thought we had scheduled never called to tell us were to meet. Nothing against him it ended up being our fault..imagine that. Everyone was dressed and ready to go I was freaking out a little. Then my sweet sister-in-law that had an already crazy busy day said I can take them I have an hour. Amy saved the day and might I add did a great job. Everyone had suggestions and idea's that together made for some pretty sweet pictures.

Merrills 65th Wedding Anniversary

Grandma and Grandpa Merrill celebrated there 65th Anniversary this past month. All of our family and plenty of friends joined us in celebrating this big day. Wow what an awesome achievement for them. They have always been wonderful examples for us, full of great stories and lots of good advice. I have so many memories with grandma and grandpa. Every summer since before I can remember they would take me along for vacations. Here are a few... we went to Utah a lot for family reunions, they took me on my first trip to the beach, Disneyland, Grand canyon, visited a couple cool caves and went to the Circus Circus in Vegas. They shared there love of playing card games with me and my children. Fun stuff! Grandpa taught me to drive stick, I will never forget that, it was so frustrating, stopping and starting up and down hills, but it worked I have taught many since, minus the hills. Grandma was a designated driver when I had my permit, then took me to get my license. You both were so patient with me. Thank you for being the best grandparents ever, I have learned so much from you too. I love you.

Fathers Day

Fathers Day has come and gone but it just wouldn't be my style to post on time. At the last minute Garrett decided to head up north for the weekend. Even though this little get away fell on his day he did what the kids wanted to do. What a sweetie-huh? Our first stop was at the stables for some horseback riding. I grew up riding, so I was excited to get back in the saddle again. The girls share my love of horses and would move to a farm tomorrow. Augi on the other hand prefers the city life without horses. We all went for a nice ride and everyone had fun. Thanks again Garrett! Next we headed to the hotel in Flagstaff, had dinner, went swimming, did some Fathers Day shopping and finally relaxed. The next day we had a huge, yummy all you can eat breakfast. We went and saw the sights of downtown Flag then went home. Garrett thanks for being such a wonderful husband and father, you make our life so much fun.
