The Happiest of Days

On the 18th, Joe and I celebrated our third year of mawage.

We decided to extend our day and celebrate the whole weekend.

Joe planned everything.

On Friday, after my contract day at work, 

we enjoyed a movie and an unbeatable burger.

When the day arrived we enjoyed pastries in bed,

nothing wrong with being lazy and staying in pajamas. 

We spent the day enjoying treats and movies.

In the afternoon we went to Nickel City.

We played hours of arcade games and earned lots of tickets.

We enjoyed a fancy dinner at La Jolla Groves.

The food is amazing!!

The entire ceiling is covered with tree branches and lemons.

They also have twinkle lights.

I think this picture speaks for itself.

Yum!!

You can't enjoy an anniversary without a dessert.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day.

We can't believe it has already been three years!

I am pretty lucky right?

Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow!

 The night before James and Katie embarked on their
 6-year adventure in Georgia, 

we all got together for a family photo.

 Brothers!

We had a Wonderfully WICKED Weekend!

(July 28)

My mother was able to get tickets for the fam to see Wicked!

We had a great time preparing for the big night.

I don't think we listened to anything but the Wicked soundtrack

for the month leading up to the show.

The night of the show came and we were ready

with purses filled with treats and binoculars.

It was always a special treat when you can spend

an evening with family!

Thanks Mom!!!

One Last Adventure...For Now...

Before James and Katie left for Georgia, 

we wanted to fill them full with all of the beauty that Utah has to offer.

  We headed up to the Uintas for some fishing.

Katie was the first one to catch a fish.

We all felt a couple of bites,

and I was still hoping for my first fish of the summer.

 We had a little visitor join our party.

I have never seen an animal that had no fear of humans.

 We decided to try our luck fishing elsewhere.

We stopped at the Provo river upper falls.

We took advantage of the great picturesque surroundings.

After a stop in Midway,

I caught a fish!

It was a very successful day full of heartfelt laughs and junk food.

Park City Pioneer Day

 For the 24th of July we went up to Park City
for a day in the sun with some friends.

We wanted to ride the zipline,
 and Mike and Rachel wanted to check out the Alpine Coaster.

 Waiting to ride the Ziprider, I began to get more and more nervous.

Joe repeated over and over to me,

"If my mom can do this, you can do this!"

That was all really helpful...HA!

 Here is the happy couple about 9 days away from getting married!

While Mike and Rachel went to ride the Alpine Coaster,

 we found something to occupy ourselves with...

After our adventures at the Park City Resort,

 we grabbed a bite to eat at a local Mexican place.

From there we departed ways, 

but Joe and I stopped at the Outlets on the way home.

We had a great July day with our friends!
