Mother's Day, 4th, St. George and Oakley

It has been a long time since the last post. We have had a lot of fun this summer. Here are a couple of pictures from Mother's Day.

Jade's Birthday and Easter Things (Big Surprise!)

We have had a lot of fun around the Hackett House these last few weeks. Jade had her birthday and turned 2. We had a little girl party for her. As you can see it's hard to get little ones to all look and smile. 

 As part of my job I have to work an occasional Saturday, but the good thing about that is that I get to play with Jade all day Monday here is some action from our trip to the park on one such Monday.

Jade really loved doing all of the Easter stuff this year. She loved dyeing eggs.

Well let me correct that statement she liked dyeing the eggs until she found out that she could eat the egg inside so she cracked 3 or 4 eggs and managed to eat about 2. We had to take the others away.

It was fun having Jade look for her basket this year. She really did look and find it.

 This is what happens when you get candy necklaces from the dollar store 

you get it almost over their head and then candy goes flying everywhere.

 Jade also got a new dress that we had to take a bunch of pictures of her in it.

 She like hopping like a bunny.

This was so funny because that was the face she gave us when we told her 

she couldn't eat the egg. 

Now I know that everyone loves the surprises they get in their Easter baskets, and we had an awesome one.

Yep we are having another girl on October 5th. We all found out when we opened the egg in the Easter basket. Jaylene had the ultrasound tech write what is was on an envelope and then she took it to the chocolate store and had them write it on an egg and cover it up so we could open it on Easter morning. I don't think Jaylene has ever been so excited over a chocolate egg before.And I'm aware that I'm completely out numbered 3 to 1.

I know Jaylene doesn't look pregnant in the above picture so I provided the one below as proof.

So the first big news is that Jade is turning two.

Jade also just went down to help Jay with taking care of Gianna and Luca while

their new little sister Gemma was born. 

 They were down there quite a while and I ended up

missing them quite a bit. So I've take a lot of pictures since they've been back.
