Promised Valley

Ender and Maya just finished performing in a musical production

"Promised Valley". They played pioneers. They did amazing!
 Jared and I couldn't get enough

of them. Ender did so incredible at singing and holding out his notes.
 Maya

was so fun to watch dancing like no one was watching.
They are so good to each other. So cute to see them taking care of
each other throughout all the play practices.
We had a great time getting to foster friendships!
Such great people in the world!
We think our kids hung the moon.
They bring us so much joy. Serious!

American Girl Store, Seattle

We took a day trip from the Lakehouse into Seattle to go to the American Girl Store.

Love this place!!! It is so fun!!!

Cousins

Cousins came into town from AZ and we had an all out Nerf fight.

Aunt and Uncle come to visit

We love JoJo and Eric so much! Always a good time hanging out with them.

We took them to our favorite icecream shop and out to Pine State Biscuits in Portland.

So yummy!!!

What do I even write about Summit Lake? It was dreamy!!!

Up in WA. we stayed in this fantastic place that was right on shore.

Kayaked our lives away. So peaceful. We all loved every min. of it.

Bus Ride

Raindance Ranch Fieldtrip

Raindance Ranch is a really beautiful 

Ranch that Maya's class has gone to on

fieldtrips in all different seasons.

It has been so fun to see the changes and 

the different animals that are on the

ranch at different times of the year.

Last time we went the wetlands had no water 

in them and beatles and snakes were

so easy to find. This time it was full of water and

 the frogs and pollywoggs were

so easy to catch.

Forest Discovery Trail

 We had a break in the rain

so the kids and I went on a hike.

We saw all sorts of little creatures

that apparently enjoy the moisture.

Musical

One of my good friends helped Maya's class

put on this great musical.

The kiddos wrote the play and music.

Jared and I did all the art with the kids.

Old Growth Forest

 This is the old growth trail that stems off of the saddle.

 Like father like son!

They even stand the same.

 You know I love my green leaves.

 This mother log was so long and so fun to walk on.
right at the end of it another on started so we jumped on that
and continued through the forest.

This tree looked like it came straight out of the movie Avitar.

In fact you could imagine yourself in that forest scene the

 whole way through this forest
