AJ enjoyed refried black beans for the first time yesterday, 8/10. Such a mess :)

Butterfly Festival

We took a family trip out to Powell Gardens to experience the butterfly festival and see the cool lego sculptures on display.  Beautiful but warm day!

Numerous attempts were made for take pictures of AJ in the beautiful spring wildflowers in Texas, and being my child, she was perfectly uncooperative. These were sadly the best shots I have :(

AJ's gram and I took her to the beach May 18, the week before we departed for the mighty Midwest.  We spent more time in commuting than we spent in total down there, and more time getting ready and unready than actually at the beach, but hey, we couldn't possibly be so close and got take that baby to see the ocean! Let's just say you was less than impressed!
