It is that time again! To the pumpkin patch we went.
One whole year has already come and gone since our last visit.
Colt October 2011
Colt October 2012
There are so many fun little things to do at this pumpkin patch. We are choosey, because Colt's 2 year old attention span and Lola's 1 month old hunger pains are both working against the clock.
First order of business is the wagon ride.
Colt had some time to contemplate life on the ride.
And we made it to the petting zoo!
They upped their game this year and had 4 pigs! Loved them.
He always calls the goats doggies. When we were walking up to the petting zoo he was yelling, "doggies, doggies!" Too funny.
I caught him poking the goat.
Okay, John isn't the goat whisperer, he just had a cup of food which made him pretty popular amongst the goats. At one point he had a couple of goats standing up with their front paws on his shirt.
The only way we can get Colt to smile these days is if we say, "Colt, do not smile!" What a stinker, huh?
Hello baby blues!
Apparently something was really funny...knee slapping funny.
(Lola's first trip to the pumpkin patch, This picture will have to suffice for her, because I was not about to take her out of the pack in fear of all of the flies and dirt -nervous Britlyn was kicking in- and she was sound asleep.)
I got my composure back.
Colt was ready for pumpkin picking with his "army man" boots on.
John's photography at its finest.
(This pumpkin reminds me of Harry Potter and Cinderella for some reason)
Last year Colt was afraid of the scarecrow, this year he faced it like a champ.
*You are mine pumpkin. I am going to carve you (insert evil laugh)*
I'm pretty sure that is what was going on in his head with this awesome face he has going on.
After he got that out of the way, he was so happy that he found the perfect pumpkin!
Love his little profile.
*Not pictured, Lola's little pumpkin. We will update you with pictures of the final carved pumpkins*
So long pumpkin patch. We will see you again next year.
