My beautiful sis tagged me on her blog. I love these kind of things.

About me...

1. I really, really don't like using public restrooms. I will if I have to but it makes me queasy every time.

2. I have to give a talk AND teach Sharing time this week.. uuuuhhhg.

3. I love deep cleaning and organizing but hate every day surface cleaning.

4. I love getting my toe nails painted but not my finger nails.

5. When I was little I had a hard time sleeping because I was scared of fire.

6. I usually can not sleep unless everyone else is already asleep.

7. Someday I'd like to go to school.

8. My biggest pet peeves are 1. fake people and 2. someone blowing their nose at the table. (DISGUSTING!)

9. I still use the blanket I used when I was growing up. I love it!

10. Sometimes I think I'm funny but that's usually when I'm super tired.

11. I was in FFA in high school. (yeah, yeah, I know... but I liked it. Dances, Hayrides, Cowboys...oh yes :)

Brit's questions....

1. If you had to change your name what would it be?

I like names that have meaning, so probably after my mom or one of my grandma's. Darlene, Ila, or Jane.

2. Favorite child hood cartoons?

I liked X-men, Animaniacs, and Sesame Street even though it's not a cartoon.

3. First cd or tape you ever bought?

I didn't know what to buy so my sister convinced me to buy Scorpions and Brian Adams. My third CD I bought on my own, Backstreet Boys. haha

4. Favorite Disney movie?

Who could pick one? I love Enchanted, Lion King, Beauty and Beast, Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Gnomobile, Fox and the Hound, Toy Story, Monsters Inc... I could go on forever!

5. if you could live anywhere and price was no issue where would you live?

I would live in Arizona, in the mountains, on a ranch, with all my family. I don't care exactly where as long as my family was there.

6. Dream Car?

A black Charger.

7. When you Die what do you want your tombstone to say?

That's a hard question. I'd probably want it to say something like "finally went Home" because I want to live a long, long time.

8. What is your guilty pleasure tv show?

The Bachelor/ Bachlorette.

9. What is your most imbarrassing moment?

The buttons popping open on my shirt. It's happened more then once.

10. What do you like to do on a beautiful spring day?

Go for a drive with the windows down.

11. What do you love doing on a raining day?

Watch a movie.

Christmas

Every Christmas we have a special little elf visit us. His name is Sassafras and sometimes he gets bored when we fall asleep. On Christmas Eve morning we woke up to this in our kitchen!

THEN

On the night of Christmas Eve the kids each got to open one present. This year they each got COZY robes! They put their robes on and we drove around to look at Christmas lights. When we got home, they got to drink some special snow man soup! They brushed their teeth and all fell asleep in Mom and Dad's room. Its our tradition for them to sleep on a mattress in our room, so they don't sneak a peek at Santa.

THEN

On Christmas Morning we all woke up early (thanks to Mom) and checked to see what Santa brought the kids. C got a BB/Pellet gun. M got a huge art set and L got a Power Ranger's sword and hydro bow.

THEN

We jumped in the car and headed into town.

At

N and B's we at DELICIOUS food opened presents and talked to L and B on the phone. The kids enjoyed playing with all FOUR doggies. Finally enough doggies to share the love!

THEN

At Mema and Papa's we opened more gifts. I'll post a picture of what J&K gave us when I have it up. We ate more good food and played a HILARIOUSNESS game called Curses inside while the kids played outback with all their cousins.

OCTOBER

October in a nut shell.....

Nikki got to hang with the kiddo's all day. They had a BLAST with her. They did crafts, colored, played games, painted toe nails.... Thanks Nikki for watching them for us!

Lando turned 5 this year. He had to wait all year for his birthday. Which is hard for a 4yr old to do. He had his buddies come over for a camping party. Complete with a campfire and a smores cake!

Dust and I got to fly to Dallas and surprise Brit. We had so much fun hanging out with them. Maybe we'll get to do it again eh?

We mighta had a little too much fun eh?

Lando's first field trip was to Schnepf Farm. Lots of fun for about an hour. Then it got hot.

Madi dressed up as "The Very Mixed Up Princess" for her school's literature parade

HALLOWEEN - I wasn't a very good mom this year and didn't get pictures of my kids in their costumes. But, considering they only wore them for less then an hour, I'm not too worried. We didn't go trick or treating this year. Instead we went to the YMCA's block party (which was not attended well, so we pretty much got the run of the place) CJ spent about 20-30 mins on the rock wall. He finally made it to the top. (that reminds me, I owe him some monies)

What do YOU do on Sundays?

What does your family do on Sunday afternoons? Bake cookies? Visit the sick? Go to grandma's house? We have a suggestion for you... Do some sweet moves and take pictures of your awesomeness! This is not for everyone. You have to have super talented and good looking kids to pull this off.
