DONE and DONE

Well the house is done and I'm done with this blog... AGAIN. I just really don't have time to keep up with it. Anyway here are some departing pictures of the house all done before we moved in. We moved in at the beginning of July and we're finally starting to get it decorated and making it feel like home! These are not in much of any order so just enjoy them as they come!

This is a view of the front when we had the wrong shutters on. I haven't taken a picture of it since we got the correct shutters.

sorry i'm SO behind...

Here is one HUGE post to catch us up on the house and one picture of elle:

Doing the NO PANTS DANCE in our new window sills!! Can you believe this little chick is ONE?! I'm sorry to say but that is something i'll probably never blog about... but we had two fun parties to celebrate our little baby girl!! LOVE her to pieces!

I did this somewhat backwards... i ruined the surprise of where the house is now because i started with the most recent but oh well... keep scrolling and see how it all got to the point it is now! Above is a picture of our upstairs bathroom (open door on left), linen closet (closed door), and elle's bedroom (open door on right). As you can see the sheetrocking and texturing is all done. They hung all the interior doors and they are working on all the door trim, floor boards, window sills, etc. "finish work" i guess it's called.

OH yeah and the shelves in the closets are done! including our ENORMOUS closet in our master bedroom SOOOOO excited about this little space!!

Going back in time, this was when they started siding and AFTER they had done the rock on the outside... i couldn't get very close because they were working on the road. I also need to get an updated picture of the outside of the house because all the siding is done and the shingles are on!!

This is kind of a weird picture but i like it because we'll never have this view again. So looking straight ahead is our master bedroom. then obviously you can see the stairs going down and what you see below is the dining room! pretty neat i think.

Anyway that's about it!! it's coming along SO fast, we're getting really excited! I'll try to be better about keeping this thing updated... it's just been CRAZY lately because we moved out of our first little home in Logan and moved in with Jon's parents, so we're trying to get organized and figure out a new schedule and everything!!

In other news, for those who don't really care about our house, which is probably most of you... we're doing really good. Jon is still liking his job with Spillman, I'm still working part time for the Sheriff's Office (hopefully soon i'll be doing it from home), and like i mentioned before, Elle had a birthday (shout hooray!) and she currently has a sinus infection. blah. i thought it was just her teeth but it has been going on for like a month.. and just gotten worse and i got tired of wiping her nose! She DID however get teeth along with that! She now how has five on top (including one molar) and four on bottom! Holy cow!! She has also been working on walking...last week she took 17 steps and then a little bit later she took 18 steps one night but ever since then, she'll only take 3 of 4 and then fall down and start crawling... oh well she'll get it soon enough i'm sure!! So that's the update on us! Life is great and we love our family and friends, thanks for stopping by!!!
