My eye

3 days after going to the doctor for my eye problem and getting medicine......it is all gone! Looks like it was a fungal infection....I hope I don't get it again.

My Horrid Eye

This isn't the best picture (well with this condition there can't be a good picture). I have had this problem with my eye for about 3 months. It has been so bad today that I finally went to the doctor to see what it might be.
I was told that it could be a fungal infection or eczema. He gave me 2 creams (one is a steroid cream) and if it's a fungal infection it should hopefully be gone in 5-6 days. If it's eczema, it can always come back. I am hoping it's the first one. I don't want this to keep coming back. I have eczema on the insides of my elbows and have for some time and it does goes away and come back quite often.

Aidan's surgery

On Friday, October 14th, Aidan had to have surgery up at Primary Children's Medical Center. It was to help fix some of the skin that adhered back to the tip of his "little privates".
I knew that this was a great hospital, but I was still worried about the surgery. Probably because Aidan would have to be put down with "laughing gas" anesthesia. The nurse told us that one of us could go in while Aidan went under. I told Josh that I didn't think I could handle it. So Josh went in with Aidan. While they did the surgery, Josh came back to the room and told me what happened. Aidan got 3 big cries out with the mask on his face and then went under. (We were told the more crying he did, the faster he would go under). Josh said though that it was a good idea to have him go in because "no mother should have to see that". The surgery took about 10 minutes and then we got to go in and see him.
We were walking to the room they had him in and as soon as the door was opened, we could hear him crying. He didn't take very long to get the gas out of him because of all the crying he was doing. It was hard to watch. But at least I got to hold him while he was coming out of it. We tried to get him to drink some apple juice (he couldn't eat anything solid after midnight the night before, he could only drink apple juice, sprite or water until up to 3 hours before the surgery) and he wouldn't take it. Next, we tried some milk. Then we tried to get him to eat a graham cracker and an oreo, but he wouldn'[t take anything. I think he just wanted to get out of there! I sat in the back with him on the ride home and it took about half of the ride to get him to quiet down and then he started eating. He has been such a boy since and eats to his heart's content!
I thank all those that were praying for him and for the surgery to go well, I really appreciate it!

Aidan's 1st Birthday

My baby boy turned 1 on Monday! I can't believe it's been a whole year! I love him so much and couldn't be happier to be his mother. :)

Today for the 4th we took Aidan to his first parade in Provo. I don't think he cared for it much....he didn't watch a lot of it. He didn't even flinch when the army guns were going off or when the loud sirens from the firetrucks were going. Here are some pictures that Aunt Michelle took:

Bear Lake : Thursday, June 16

Today we decided to go riding the bikes again. This time Aidan came along. He got to ride in the basket. The people he rode with were his great grandma, grandma, DeAnn and Stephanie. They said he had a fun time just kicking his legs.

I decided I wanted to ride a mountain bike this time. It was so much fun!!

This was a sign in front of a house. I'm sad that it didn't show well even after cropping it. The sign said, " Poisonous snakes and insects inhabit the area" We thought it was funny especially with the type of house that it was in front of.

Then we went and had lunch at a place called Coopers just over the Idaho border. This was our view of Bear Lake as we ate.

Bear Lake : Wednesday, June 15

We actually went down to the lake today. FREEZING water!! Here is Josh on the paddle boat. He had just taken his mom on a ride.

Bear Lake : Tuesday, June 14

This morning we went for a bike ride around town. These are the bikes that we rode in. It was quite the workout, especially after the cave which was a total of  888 steps.

Aidan didn't seem to mind being in the sand. Now if I had put him in the water that would have been a different story. I put my feet in it and it was cold!

Bear Lake : Monday June 13

On Monday, we decided to go to Minnetonka "falling waters" Cave in Idaho. It was so cold because there is still snow up there.

Bear Lake : Sunday June 6/12

We got to Bear Lake on Saturday around 5:30 pm. We are staying in a cabin that belongs to a woman in Aidan's great grandma's stake and Aidan's great aunt's carpool for her kids. We mostly settled in that night and ate dinner.

Sunday, we found out there was this park down the road and I really wanted to take Aidan. I have been wanting to forever but it seems the weather hasn't been cooperating. 

Our first thing we did was the slide. Not sure what he thought of this....I'm just sure he didn't like the sun in his eyes.

Then we put him in the baby swing by himself. I love how he is hanging onto the swing and just chilling.

Then I thought the video would be better if I had him on my lap. Sorry about the constant "wee"ing from me but I wanted to show him that it was fun. I love his laugh and reaction to the movement. We definitely will be going to the park more often!

This was a weird thing at the park. Don't know what you would call it, but it was so much fun!

I'm so upset!

I can't talk about this on Facebook, but since this blog is private and I only invite people to it- I cam vent here.
Yesterday at work, I get a call from one of the "higher ups" asking if I could pull some product for some distributors that are coming in from Germany for our convention. I say sure and get it all ready for him. An hour later, he comes to pick it up. I have him sign the product out for these distributors and then go over the product that I pulled with him. We take it out to his car, he says thanks and drives away.
This morning, I get an email from him saying, " I didn't get all the product, I am missing an order." I am 110% sure that I pulled EVERYTHING for him and 110% sure that I told him EACH and EVERY product I had on the cart. He keeps insisting that I didn't give him everything. Emails are going back and forth between me and him for quite awhile. (One part of the email he says he is missing these certain items and then right after he says he is missing different items). Finally, I send this email chain to my boss to let her know what was going on. I even sent just her an email telling her that I don't like being accused of doing something wrong that I didn't do. She wrote me back saying, "I believe you."
She then actually came and talked to me saying, " Don't worry about this, I know you did everything right that you were supposed to do. This guy," (I won't say his name...........not that anyone would know him), " he is high maintenance and a jerk. We will give him what he "thinks" he is missing and charge his department for it."
So that part is taken care of, but I am so upset that he thinks he can get away with this! Stupid people!
Okay, done venting. 

Fire at my work

So this truck caught fire outside Monavie Thursday May 19th. It was delivering juice to our facility when it caught fire. It was at 2 in the morning, so thankfully no one was there. The truck driver is okay, don't worry. I had to go take a picture. Crazy huh?

Aidan has recently become more interested in this monkey. Josh let me make this monkey at build a bear while I was pregnant. We named the monkey Ajay because those are Aidan's initial (Aidan Joshua).

This little guy is full of laughs, giggles, and smiles! He is so precious :)

He is at a stage right now though that if he can't see you, then it means you must have left him. He also loves to be held a lot. I love being able to snuggle with this sweetie, but sometimes mommy needs to get stuff done i.e. dishes or laundry.

No matter if there are bad times, the good times far outweigh the bad!

Trip to Cedar City for Josh's birthday

Josh and I decided to go on a trip for his birthday. Since we don't have that much money right now, we couldn't go far but just wanted to get away. So we decided to go to Cedar City. So yesterday, we dropped Aidan off at my parents and headed down to Cedar City. Since it was snowing down there, we didn't do much but relax. The hotel we stayed at was nice. I loved the bath in there! The king bed was awesome too!

Well, my blog used to be called The Bowes (Josh, Sarah, and Aidan) but I recently changed it to The Bowe Bubble. 
Why?
No reason. I just wanted to change it from the Bowes. I couldn't think of anything original or good sounding.
Any suggestions are welcome as to a better blog name! Seriously.....start thinking and give me your ideas ;)

Day 14: A TV show that you are currently addicted to....

Again, there are a lot of these as I watch WAY too much TV. So I'll just add pictures again.

BONES is one of my all time favorites right now! I actually started missing CSI recording on my DVR because I HAD to have this record! Josh doesn't watch it with me because he doesn't like it, but oh well. It's my own show then!

My sister, Angie, got me hooked on this show. It's pretty crazy! I have always loved Jason Segal so it totally makes this show worthwhile for me. He's so funny!

Simon Baker.........I love that he is Australian (if you haven't seen this show, he actually talks with an American accent. So I always have to listen to him say, "stay tuned for scenes from our next episode" because I can hear his real voice) He just makes me laugh on this show!

Josh's aunt, Alison, got us hooked on this show! She knew that Josh would like it because he would get a lot of the geeky-ness in it. I have to watch this with Josh because if I don't understand something, I make him explain it to me. But even without understanding EVERYTHING they say, it is still a really funny show!
