NFR 2008

National Finals Rodeo 2008!

I'm not really a "Rodeo Queen", but I absolutely LOVE going to the NFR! We always have such a blast, and come home with memories we'll treasure forever!



Giddy'up Cowboys! Don't you LOVE James and Jeffrey's new hats?!?! See what Amanda and I get for leaving them unattended at Cowboy Christmas... Come back to cowboys of our very own!

I don't even know these cowboys, and they're probably like forty years old, but hell.... they still look good in a pair! :)

I was snapping pictures as quickly as I could hoping that one of the horses (out of the thousands there, c'mon!) were going to unexpectedly freak out and give us all an "unplanned" rodeo! Once again, I was disappointed....didn't happen, dang it.

James and I the first night of the rodeo before he transformed into a "real cowboy" with his hat. The joke that whole night was everyone else showed up decked out in cowboy hats, boots, spurs, and lasso's (hahah..ok, not so many lasso's!) but James. And really - out of everyone there James is probably one of the few true cowboys, and he conservatively showed up in his American Eagle sweater! He got into the spirit a little more the second night!

The rule is ..... You CANNOT go to the NFR without riding the mechanical bull in the Coors Tent! Here we all are taking our turn!

Poor James didn't get a turn on the bull... they shut it down just before his turn. So, he's saying "Damnit... I don't get to ride??" See what I mean about being a DORK in every picture! I swear!

Blogger Beginnings.....

Yes, it has taken me this long to start a blog... pathetic! I'm still an amature at this stuff, so if anyone has any cool tips or tricks, feel free to share!

This is going to be one of my countless attempts at scrapbooking, journaling, and simply keeping in touch with everyone. So, here it goes.... I hope this is something I can finally stick to! Apparently (just judging from several half -full journals, and half-finished scrap books!?!?) I have a hard time documenting my life's adventures.
