The Largest Newspaper Making Competition

About Junior Editor

Junior Editor (JE) is India’s largest newspaper-making competition, featuring a unique four-page broadsheet layout designed especially for children. It offers a creative platform that combines writing, editing, designing, and reporting — giving young participants the chance to become real editors.

Through JE, students can craft their own newspapers by writing headlines, creating stories, and designing editorials. Each broadsheet comes with clear, step-by-step guidelines to support both writing and illustration.

Over the years, Junior Editor has earned recognition from several prestigious organizations:

Guinness World Records - The Largest Writing Competition

Limca Book of Records -The Largest Countrywide Newspaper-Making Competition for Children

India Book of Records - For producing the most handmade newspapers by children

The competition is available in three editions — Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Bhaskar, and Divya Marathi — allowing participants to create their newspapers in Hindi, English, Gujarati,orMarathi.
