Olympia

Jon and I went to Olympia, WA.... only 2 months ago! :)

Upon arriving, we went into Seattle and walked around Pike's Market, had some delicious clam chowder and faced the stares and under the breath comments about ReAL Salt Lake. (Jon and I both made it a point to support our team on enemy territory)

 And top priority, was see and spend time with this cutie!!

 On our last night there, we went to the beach! It was a little chilly, but how awesome is it to just pack up and drive to the beach for an afternoon?!  Very!

 On the morning we left, it was foggy, but other than that we lucked out and had really great weather!

 We had a lot of fun, playing soccer and being crafty and just hanging out!

The Zoo

My mom's work had a "party" at the Zoo and she was able to get 4 people in.  So she decided to take Austin and Spencer and so I wanted to go - giving Jen and Ben a date night.

It had been forever since I was at the zoo, I was a little disappointed that we weren't able to see some of the exhibits because they were blocked or it got too dark, but we had a good time!

I had no idea they had (brown) bears at the zoo. I just thought they had the polar bears, so this was fun. I couldn't get a good pic of the polar bear; too many people around, and it was kind of hiding.

New Place

 I have finally downloaded alomst 150 pictures and will be updating this blog (slowly). 

Oct 1st I moved out and am now living with 4 other girls that I met in my YSA ward.  So far so good... Here are a few pictures of my living space, my room is still a work in progress and I'm on the look-out for some kind of shelving/cabinets/storage boxes to help with the organization problem.

Airborne

The last week of August Josh, Nikki, Keegan and Carleigh came to Utah! It was so fun to have them stay with us and play with Keegan and meet Carleigh (finally). One night a couple friends of mine wanted to go to Airborne and so I asked if Keegan wanted to go and he was totally up for it. I think he was in heaven! There were tramps everywhere!!

Group shot (minus Sarah) before we left. Although my hair was everywhere and we were all tired and sweaty, I just love this picture. Keegan said it was the best day ever!! Which made my day, I rarely get to see him and to be part of the best day for him was pretty special.

Sandy Balloon Festival

A few weeks ago mom and I went to the Sandy Balloon Festival. I'd never been, actually I've never seen a hot air balloon up close.
(Nikki- I know this isn't anything like the ABQ balloon festival, so you don't need to point that out)

The sky was incredible that morning. This is looking east, just up our street.

It was fun to see the process of filling the balloons and someday, I'll go in one -

Side note: We've been playing softball (for YSA) and we took this picture at the all area tournament. We're nerds, I know. We all wore our league shirts and posed! We lost horribly, but got some good bruises out of the night!
