I am not talking relations here people. Unless you are just that attached to blogging.
Monday while on a playdate with my friend Jessie and her son Carter the neglection of our blogging came up. She is Little Me,Queen Bee, and always has some kind of give-a-way or informtaion on new products. We got to talking about our blogs and how yet, we love our children but we didn't want our blog to be completely and totally about our lives.(Even though i consider our lives pretty great) So, i am afraid that is where my blog has pretty much gone. I wanted this blog to be about my family but also about my love for design.
So.....since i have only posted one time about design and my LVR being part of the main topic, i plan to do more. I will say since that post about decorating our LVR that we have gotten a mid-century sofa sectional, new window treatments, and pillows on the sofa. Slowly but surely we are going to get there. I am hoping to post more on our house which I am planning to have some things completed before our Halloween party. Cross your fingers!! And also on some of my favorite go to's for today's design both indoor and outdoor. If you check out LONNY in my favs, they have great/fun room layouts.

LOOKOUT
The theme for the 3rd Annual Mockingbird Halloween party is pretty much set.
Oh, I can't wait! This is going to be a goody or at least we think so. Be on the watch for the Save the Date.
Ideas are flowing for the infamous Christmas card.
(disclaimer: as in every year we are unsure of that ever lingering question "can you top last years?")
However, my idea is pretty good and it came upon me with a visit from the in-laws. Kelby has yet to hear of it.
Race for the Cure, well if you come to our Halloween party you might not feel well enough to run. However, I will be there in support of a co-worker/friend who found out not to long ago she has breast cancer. Also, in the memory of my dear friend Jamie's mother. So if you are still feeling fine come run or walk (there are a lot of walkers) or if not just donate to the cause. You can see this on my facebook page.
As far as Lincoln goes, well he goes. None stop. He is really starting to enunciate words like Yay and Da-da. He loves to say E-I-E-I and later Oh..... (you know Ole' McDonald). I also taught him to say A-E-I-O-U. The boy loves outdoors and since it has been pretty much miserable outside we don't go out much. So every time I open the door to outside we usually have a melt down. He has learned to climb on top of our dining chairs and on top of the table. Kelby caught him digging in his cereal bowl the other morning (wish I had a pic). He now weighs 25lbs and has recently got in 5 new teeth bringing the grand total to 12 teeth. He loves boxes and pushing his dump truck or anything with wheels around the house. We had to buy a fan the other day because our house is a furnace (yes our AC works, just not well) and he really liked sticking his face to get that "wind blown look." He thought it was Hilarious!!! He loves music to listen to and dance to. He spins in circles and makes himself dizzy. And he stomps his foot when he is mad, you can imagine how well this goes over. Blu is his bedtime friend the GloSeahorse. Loves his dogs and has recently tried to ride Poppy, that didn't go to well either.
