I’ve been using my 2020 MacBook Pro M1 for about a month now after my Windows PC died, and it’s been a pretty good experience. I’ve always been platform agnostic when it comes to computers -- I even ran Linux for a few years in my twenties -- but I only recently started getting back into Apple over the pandemic because the companies I worked for only supplied me with MacBook Pros. Since then, Macs were strictly for work, and I used Windows for everything else. Now, I can see myself solely using a Mac and not splitting my work between different operating systems. For what it’s worth, I still plan on buying a new PC, if only so I can get back to streaming. (I don’t want to stream on my MacBook Pro and potentially overtax it.)

As of this post, ICE has killed another person in Minneapolis -- Alex Jeffrey Pretti. The video of the murder is circulating online, and this is happening just days after news broke that ICE has authorization to forcibly enter homes during their “immigration operations” without judicial warrants. That sound you hear isn’t just gunshots. It’s a ticking time bomb, y’all.

Well this is unexpected: Nicki Minaj vs. Don Lemon! What is this, Celebrity Deathmatch?

The speed at which folks went from making fitness resolutions to devouring homemade cheesecake bowls to rampant fatphobia might be a new land speed record. The bowls do look good, but I won't be trying that shit. I'm lactose intolerant -- y’all not finna kill me!

Quotes for the week:
- "What looks like destruction may be the first stage of regeneration."
- "Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know. We run away from it, but the same problem just waits for us wearing new names and new faces."
