 Logan gets a lot of slivers

Morgan's not a little baby anymore. As happy as it makes me to have reached the one year checkpoint, I'm sad that she's growing up so fast. Cliche, I know :)

We're a Little Weird

Not a lot happened in April besides the usual sparkle shoe breakfast, story time with Dad and underwear hats. We have fun :)

We did a lot in March!!

 Logan got to ride with Grandpa Gibb in the sprayer. After the ride he found a HUGE pile of foam. Before I could stop him, he started swimming in it.

 His army men were an incentive for going to the bathroom on the toilet. He loves them!

The pictures were a little out of order, but you get the point. We had FUN in March!

Relief Society Birthday Party

Every year in March our church celebrates the "birthday" of the world's largest women's organization: The LDS Relief Society. It was my job (along with three wonderful ladies) to put together the event. We strung Christmas lights and hung paper pom poms. We served a Cafe Rio style buffet and served over 200 cupcakes. The evening was wonderful, it went off without a hitch and we even had volunteers stay to clean up! Now that it's over I can start to think about other things...like potty training Logan?! HA!...yeah right.

 We got sick. Really...junkie...sick. We spent a lot of time in the "reading/movie" pool.

When I looked at the date of my last post I couldn't believe it had been so long since I last wrote. The Holidays came and went in a whirlwind of fun, family and food. Here are some of the things we were up to in the last two months. 

 

I've had a lot of fun doing fun things with the kids. I've worked really hard and given up my "rest time" to prepare special activities with them. I'd do it again every time I see the look on Logan's face when I surprise him with a fort or slime or some other fun thing. Being a Mom is hard work, but I'd NEVER trade it for any job in the world.

 The slime didn't turn out like I had planned. In stead of oozing out of the hanging baskets, it flipped over and fell right on his head. He was so mad! Needless to say every time I mention slime he gets upset.
