El Banditos

The NYPD is asking for the public's help identifying a man and women wanted in a string of Queens burglaries that occurred in August and September. The suspects generally break a window of their target location (they've included BugerKing, BabyGap a taco truck, and Martha's Bakery), steal cash and goods, then flee. No injuries have been reported. They're aged 26-32 (pictured; click to enlarge). If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TRICK-TREAT.

Storm King Art Center

Image
We road tripped to Storm King Art Center in upstate New York this past saturday and made quite a fun day of it, with couple of impromptu stops. One being at a lake (Welch) where we took a summer dip. Another being a quaint antique shop we found by hand made signs off the main road. Storm King was amazing, we didn't even get to see all of the sculptures present! It was such an experience to wandering through woods and meadows searching for and finding these macro contemporary works of art. We loved the convergence of modern color, material, and form against the natural, earthy back drop. For those curious, it is only an hour and a half north of New York City!
