Flat Stanley

Hannah Mitzel (Jill's oldest) asked our family to take her "Flat Stanley" to places around Utah for a geography unit her 1st grade class was doing. We had so much fun with this! He went to a basketball game Joshua refereed, a hockey game of Jared's and even snowboarding with Shelby. He also accompanied us on a trip to Salt Lake City where we went to the temple and capitol building. It was record breaking cold here, and the warmest it got was about 20 degrees! The rest of the time it was below zero. Fun times!

Fun Fun Fun in Lincoln City!

Just got back from the all-adult Family Reunion in Lincoln City. Wasn't as kinky as it sounds, but Nancy and I did make a grand entry complete with synchronized swimming out the back of the rented Mustang convertible.... all alcohol-free!

Something new...

Jordan is sitting beside me teaching me how to set up a cool blog like his. I just saw a book he created from his blog which is like my old newsletters on steroids. Technology is amazing, and I can see the possibilites for it to be time savvy for me and my new life as a single mom.
