Soccer Time

 Those that know Michael know that when his son said "I want to play soccer" he did not argue or hesitate to sign him up.  Brayden has loved playing this season, and the fact that he has three girls on his team only made it that much better for him.

First day of school.

since it was my first day of school as well, Brayden thought he should take a picture of me.  Not to bad, kind of impressed with his composition:)

 Yesterday was storybook character day at school.  Bray has come to love the book the Runaway Bunny, it is about a little bunny who tells his mother he is going to run away from her.  She then tells him "if you run away from me I will run after you for you are my little bunny."  The little bunny then proceeds tell her he will turn into different things such as a trout in a fish stream, but the mother says then I will fish for you.  It continues in that format, with the bunny ending up in the mothers arms.  It is a really sweet little book.  So here he is as the little bunny.

                            He insisted that I be the mother bunny.  How can you deny a request like that?

My recipe for a simple, stress free yet fun birthday party:
1 Birthday boy chosen Angry Bird theme
30 store ordered cupcakes

3 Angry Bird balls

1 Dad built and tested sling shot

15 boxes and a few boards















A couple of cousins and a few close friends













1 Seven year old birthday boy who comes in to check out the party set up and exclaims "this is exactly what I wanted !"

Cousin Messy Day

Tell boys that they are going to get to spend the night with all their boy cousins and get messy the next day and you get smiles all around from the youngest to the oldest.  Without any further explanation here are a few (and by few I mean a lot) pictures from our day.

After that it was time to get out the shaving cream and cheetos.

Next up was the slide full of shaving cream, I think they enjoyed spraying the cream more than sliding down.

This is a fast slide to begin with, just add a little bit of slippery and you should have seen how fast he flew down!

The other boys were a little more apprehensive, but Brayden is willing to give everyone  a push!
