A display of diamonds and gemstones can never be quite complete until the setting is just right. Jewellery with precious and semi-precious stones set in gold and platinum completes KGK's precious banquet. KGK's in-house designers and skilled craftsmen - working in synchronised harmony to create classic and contemporary designs in studded jewellery, hand crafted to custom requirements and set to perfection on modern machines.
The KGK Group has been instrumental in the restoration of the magnificent Jal Mahal (the Water Palace), a Mughal-era royal palace in Jaipur. Just a few years ago the lake was an environmental disaster and the palace a derelict ruin.
The remarkable restoration, which started in 2005, has involved numerous international experts, traditional master craftsmen, architects, historians and authorities on art, culture and design. The lake too has experienced a transformation. Drains into it have been diverted and two million tonnes of toxic silt dredged away. Following the introduction of a water treatment system local vegetation and fish have flourished, and migratory birds have returned to the surrounding wetlands.
Today the iconic Jal Mahal is an oasis of peace by day, and a shining inspiration at night.
Established in 1997 and funded by the activities of the KGK Group, the Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (BMCHRC) in Jaipur, is the only super specialty cancer treatment hospital in North India.
The 200-bed NABH accredited institution provides advanced medical services to cancer patients in an environment that focuses on care, humanity and compassion.
The hospital includes a surgical oncology department, medical oncology department, radiation oncology department, radiology, pathology and a blood bank. A separate seven-storied IPD block was recently added to contribute to patient care.
As well as treating cancer with advanced medical science, the all-women’s Cancer Care wing uplifts many with a personal, human touch and extends moral and financial aid to the disadvantaged.
The KGK Group is a key supporter of the non-profit SS Jain Subodh Shiksha Samiti, which provides education to more than 33,000 students in Rajasthan, India.
The initiative was established in 1918 with a class of just four girls. Today this respected name in education includes 19 institutions under its auspices, including play groups, colleges, post-graduate colleges, a teachers’ training college as well as professional institutions such as an MBA institute, MCA institute and a law college.
The institution and its team of 900 are guided by the principle that a quality education is an undeniable right and every student deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Samiti members are committed to providing an accessible quality education to all.
