2009 Simulity Labs Ltd is incorporated pioneering eSIM technology
2017 Arm acquires Simulity Labs Ltd and founds the Kigen product group, to address how to drive standardised security in IoT to reach 1 trillion devices
2019 Kigen pioneers the integrated SIM within Arm, announced in partnership with Vodafone IoT at MWC’19.
2020 As eSIM standardisation matures and momentum for iSIM grows, Kigen sets out to separate from Arm to widen access to cellular security
2021 Kigen becomes a SoftBank Vision Fund company.
