Kool-Aid Stand

For a couple days, Peyton has been wanting to have a Kool-Aid stand. She earned some money over the weekend and insisted on going through the check out and using her own money to buy Kool-Aid and cups.
On Sunday, she wanted to pay tithing, so I told her I would help her fill out the slip and give it to one of the men in the Bishopric Ric. She was so exciting, she ran up and handing her little dime to the first guy she saw and later told me she paid tithing. After church, we went and found the guy and filled a slip out then turned it in. She so cute...now back to the Kool-Aid stand.
We got it all set up and had a lot of customers. I think she made around $10 it was probably more, but she decided that the kids in the neighborhood needed money, so she started handing out money with their cup of Kool-Aid. No wonder why they had so many customers!!

How could you not buy Kool-Aid from that cute kid!!

The three little Terds!

I was trying to take a current picture of all 3 of the kids and realized something...the reason I don't have a lot of pictures of all 3 of the kids, is because it's a lot of work to get all of them to look at the same time. After about 10 pictures (seriously) this is what I got!

They are all actually looking, but I think Trey is watching something else.

This is so typical..Blake looking at one of the other kids

Anyway, they are too dang cute. And I'm sure some day, I will look back and love the not so perfect pictures we have our kids!

Happy Father's Day

Dad got extra special care on his special day. It started out with breakfast in bed. Then he opened his new ipod alarm clock, his favorite chips shipped in from Maryland, a tie key chain, home made picture frame and cute cards all made by the kiddies! We found out toward the end of the day that our camera actually works after the camping incident. So I got a few shots of the kids making (at Dad' request) chocolate Trifle. Unfortunately, Dad had to leave his day early due to an emergency at work. But we had his steak and potato salad waiting when he got home!

We love how you make us laugh and let us be silly!

How you show up to our events and encourage us to do our best.

And most of all for loving us for who we are!
We hope you know how thankful we are to have you as our dad!!

Camping- Day 2

In the past, Day 2 is when things start to make a turn for the worse, and we end up spending the night at the Farm. Well we did have an incident, but thankfully it ended up in all of our favor, and we made it through the night.

Cute Blake prior to the "incident"
We were throwing rocks into the river, and Blake started to run back to us, and fell right into a very deep part of the river. Thankfully, I was pretty close and was able to jump in after him before he stayed under too long, or started downstream. Gosh it makes me sick to think of all the "what ifs".

This ends the picture memories of our annual camping trip to Willow Flat. Due to the camera getting water logged during my brief swim in the freezing, Idaho water. But here are a few more fun things we did.
Watch Blake sit by the fire bundled up by the fire for 45 minutes with out a word after the swim
Hike to the waterfall
Walk around the trail over the bridge
Scope out other campsite, but realize we love the one we have
Eat foil dinners
Visit with everyone from the Farm around the campfire and eating s'more
The kids eating stale red vines, that you could break with a hammer
Kids loving the pop up trailer and calling it a palace
Kids running up and down the hill
The extemly, horendous smell of the bathrooms this year
Actually spending the night in our tents on night 2

Camping-Day 1

Even though, the last few years of camping have not gone smoothly. We still took our annual trip up to Willow Flatt for some fun in the great outdoors. It was the most fun yet!

The Grotto

Me and the kids went hiking with my friend Lindsey and Kera and all of our kids. It was a fun little hike, and so worth the fun water fall at the end. We can't wait for the next adventure!

Going Golfing

One Friday night when the boys were suppose to go camping, Peyton and I decided to go to Trafalga to go miniature golfing. When the weather didn't cooperate, the boys ditched camping, and came with us for a fun, family night. It was an adventure, as usual.

Saying Goodbye to Grandma Joy

Grandma Joy (Kris' grandma) passed away on May 31, 2010. They had a perfect grave side service in the bountiful cemetery, where she was laid to rest next to her husband and mom. She lived in Washington DC up until 2 years ago when she moved to Utah. She turned 86 years old in February. Papa Tk, uncle, Kris and Kory all spoke and shared some tender memories.
We are so grateful for eternal families and the comfort of knowing we will see her again someday.
