Message
Through globally minded and ambitious individuals, we share Japan's beauty with the world.

The Tokyo Art Club is launching the KOGEI Art Director Practical Development Project, a program dedicated to cultivating professionals who can interpret and communicate the value of Japanese craftsmanship, from classical art to contemporary craft, for a global audience.
In recent years, we feel that the international recognition of Japanese art has declined. Despite its profound value and appeal, shaped over centuries of history, it has not been sufficiently communicated or presented abroad.
Since 2024, we have been presenting a new exhibition, KO+GEI, introducing Japanese craft to the world and highlighting the idea that the essence of these works lies in Japan's classical art traditions. Through this initiative, we have continued to share this message both in Japan and internationally.
Through these efforts, we have come to understand that connecting Japan's artistic heritage with the global art world requires the energy and vision of young people with an international perspective.
With the support of the Agency for Cultural Affairs and the Japan Arts Council, we are now launching a Art Director training program designed to nurture professionals who will bring Japanese art to the world.
The Tokyo Art Club will continue to devote its full efforts to ensuring that Japanese art shines ever more brightly on the global stage.
We sincerely invite your interest and support in our vision.
